Seth tried a couple more times, but all was in vain. It gave him a headache, "What the heck am I supposed to do now? Does he even know he forgot his stuff?"

Should he wait or send it over to Wyatt?

He didn't even know what to do with the car!

Was that woman making his boss forgetful?

Wyatt was getting more and more careless every day!

Seth wasn't sure if Wyatt had really forgotten the bag, or if he deliberately left it in the car. He couldn't reach Wyatt, so he was in a dilemma. Should he bring the bag over to Wyatt? If Wyatt had really forgotten it, Seth would be doing Wyatt a huge favor, but if it was the latter, he'd be doing quite the opposite!

It was so troublesome!

After giving it a few moments of thought, Seth eventually got off the car with the keys.

Meanwhile, Wyatt was calling Waverly anxiously.

"The person you're trying to reach isn't available, please try again later-"

What was going on?

Why wasn't she answering?

He had told her about his sudden change of plans, and she was pretty alright with it. She even told him to not worry, that she'd be shopping around as she waited for him!

Was she mad? It wasn't even seven yet!

Wyatt frowned as he sent her a couple of text messages. He waited for a while, but he got no response. Just as he was about to call Waverly again, Seth came into view.

"Wyatt, thank goodness you're still out here! Your bag's in the car, I didn't bring it over, 'cause I wasn't sure if you wanted to give it to her or not! The car is in parking lot C, the keys Seth then raised his eyes and noticed how spooked Wyatt looked. "What's wrong?" He asked, worried.

"I don't know, she's not answering my calls!" Wyatt felt like something had happened.

"Wyatt, don't worry! Maybe she's in a noisy place and couldn't hear her phone ring!"

All of a sudden, both Wyatt and Seth caught a rustling sound. Wyatt subconsciously raised his gaze and followed the source of the sound as Seth instinctively turned around and did the same. A lot of people were running, and they were all running in one direction.

"What's happening?"

Wyatt wasn't in the mood to watch any drama, "No idea!"

Wyatt lowered his head and called the number again. "The person you're trying to reach isn't available, please try again later-"

Seth, on the other hand, was still a little curious, so he stepped forward and caught a couple of young ladies talking.

"Where are we going?"

"Someone's caught a mistress! Let's go watch! Look, they're even recording it live!"noveldrama

"Oh, are they stripping her?"

Seth's gaze followed the two women for a while before they disappeared out of his sight. He noticed that a few people were on their phones, watching the drama live as well. He then noticed the woman on their screens. She seemed familiar, but he wasn't really sure. Those people were running, and their phones were small. The video's quality wasn't that good, either. However, Seth still unconsciously blurted out.

"Wyatt, it looks like...Miss Castle!"

Seth sounded unsure of himself, but the mention of Waverly's name pulled Wyatt back to his senses. He then rushed toward the crowd without a hint of doubt. Sure enough, it was Waverly. She was pressed against the floor by two women. One of the ladies was holding her firm while the other was tearing her clothes off her. Waverly's coat had been torn off, and her clothes inside were also ripped off. Waverly was struggling and rebelling, and the two women couldn't seem to hold her off much longer.

"You shameless mistress! Your husband died, and now you're seducing someone else's boyfriend! You're breaking relationships! You're a real sl*t, huh? You really like to show off your body to men, don't you? Here, let me help you!"

"No! I don't even know you! Go away! Ah-"

"You don't know her? My friend almost killed herself because of you! If she had done that, I would've fallen into depression! And what were you doing? Spending her boyfriend's money, buying clothes with her boyfriend's money, you should just f*ck yourself!"

"Do you think we wouldn't know about you? They've been dating for ten years now, you know? Who do you think you are?"

"And you thought you could hook up with him, didn't you? Wyatt's playing you, you stupid little girl! He doesn't like you!"

"His girlfriend's a dancer. She's from a rich family, and she's a hundred thousand times prettier than you! You shameless wh*re!" "B*tches don't go far!"

"Stop, stop, I didn't! I didn't!"

Waverly was crying her eyes out, but no matter how hard she fought back, she alone could not overpower two women. When Wyatt and Seth finally broke through the crowd, they paused for a few moments when they saw how truly chaotic the scene was.

Wyatt came back to his senses and pushed a woman away. He was furious, "What are you doing? You're going too far off the line!"

Wyatt took off his suit as he pulled Waverly up to her feet. He then swiftly wrapped his suit around her tiny body. His face was dark with rage.

Waverly had never encountered something like that before. She cried and cried and couldn't find the words to describe the injustice she just experienced. Wyatt hugged her tight. He could hear his heart break into pieces inside of him.

"Wyatt, why are you siding with her? Is that mistress really worthed it? We're just avenging Raynee! Don't be stupid, Wyatt, she's not after you, she's after your money!"

"That's right! Look at what she's wearing! The dress she's got costs tens of thousands of dollars! She's just using you for your money!"

"Raynee's nothing like her! She's frugal because she values your hard work. How can you be so ungrateful? Do you even have a heart, Wyatt Johnson? What did Raynee do to you? Why'd you break up with her? Do you know she's drowning in sorrow right now? She's

drinking her glooms and now

she can't even dance well because of it! But she'd only cry when no one's there because she doesn't want people to think ill of you!"

"You're a heartless man, Wyatt. She's such a good woman, why the h*ll would you ditch her?"

"Raynee's educated and sensible, how could someone like her ever compare to Raynee?"

"You've been dating for so long, you can't just quit! You better deal with this sl*t as quick as

you can!"

The two of them criticized Wyatt and Waverly, and they sounded so confident and righteous. Even Seth was ticked off.

Those two did look quite familiar!

Rage bubbled inside of Wyatt as the women kept exercising their mouths. He narrowed his cold eyes as he finally spoke.

"Enough!" Wyatt's voice was cold to the bone, "Who I like and who I date is none of your business. Raynee Wagner is not my girlfriend, and who the h*ll are you, even? You think too highly of yourselves!"

The women instantly fell silent. They stared at Wyatt and didn't know what they could possibly say.

"Don't you dare touch her again! If you do, well, we'll see, won't we? Get out! All of you, get out of my sight!"

Wyatt was so angry he was trembling. He really felt like beating those two up, he really wanted to. The h*ll were they doing, sticking their nose into other people's businesses?

The thing was that a lot of people were around. They stood by and just watched the drama unfold. Wyatt couldn't think straight with so many people there! This drama also gave Seth a massive headache. He chased away the crowd as

he yelled, "Okay, okay, stop recording! There's nothing to see here. C'mon, go away!"

"You'll regret it sooner or later."

"You're bewitched!"

The two women muttered as they left. If they had stayed for a second longer,

Wyatt would probably be screaming bloody murder.

Humans were strange beings indeed. The more people stopped him from being

the Waverly, the more he yearned for her.

As he watched the two women leave, hatred slowly replaced the anger in his heart. His instincts told him that Raynee had caused all this. He had tried breaking up with her in the softest way possible. He didn't want to date her anymore, but he still cared for her, so he tried to minimize the damage, and he tried to tolerate her. And this was what he

got? First, it was Quill Lewis. And now, this?

She was pushing him into doing something he was disinclined to do!

Wyatt held Waverly tighter in his arms.

Seth picked up Waverly's stuff from the ground and offered, "Wyatt, I'll send the

both of you back!"

Wyatt was on the verge of a mental breakdown. He thought he was a powerful

man, but the fact was that he couldn't even protect the woman he adored the most in the world.

At home, Wyatt got somebody to make Waverly some porridge. He subsequently got a warm towel to wipe the tears off her face.

Waverly sat on the sofa quietly. She was calmer than he expected her to be. She was like a doll without a soul. The tears on her face had dried, but every once in a while, a few drops would stream down her face again. She was really quiet. She cried silently, and she never uttered a single word since the incident. Wyatt had just wiped the tears off her face, but new ones quickly came. He felt his heart aching. He pressed her into his embrace as he planted a loving yet apologetic kiss on her forehead.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." He kisses her hair with each apology. "But I know

that's not enough."

He stroked her messy hair as he continued, "Did they beat you? I didn't expect this. I don't even know them well!"

"Waverly, I've already broken up with

her. It made things extremely clear. I'm single, I don't have a girlfriend anymore! You're not a mistress! You've never been! I didn't just break

up with Raynee because of you. The long distance relationship was hard, we've got problems of our own. Ten

years, I've waited for ten years, and it's time I let go. It's not entirely because of you. It's not."
