Be Your Lover Forever (Alicia)

Chapter 1494

Wyatt didn't want the incident to mentally burden her, so he did his best to explain and comfort her. It was also the first time he felt true hatred for Raynee's way of dealing with problems.

The relationship between Wyatt and Raynee only involved Wyatt and Raynee. Why pull Waverly into all this?

Wyatt would be lying if he said he didn't feel guilty when he broke up with her. She could blame him and rebuke him all she wanted, he would take it, he even felt like he deserved it. She could even ask for compensation. As long as it was reasonable, he would try to fulfill her.

He never knew Raynee would go so far, though. He didn't know Raynee would do such disgusting things, and she didn't even show up! She had other people do her vile deeds for her! It was infuriating!

She must've done something, or else her

friends wouldn't have had the time and energy to throw a tantrum in public like that! She must be crazy!

Now, thinking about it, he realized that Raynee had always been like that. So stubborn, so wayward. When they first started dating, the Johnson family wanted the two of them to quickly settle down and start a family, but Raynee insisted on dancing. Wyatt had asked her to be a little more compliant when talking to his family. He advised her against arguing with them. He told her how it would be unwise to talk as bluntly as she usually does, but she didn't take any of his advice seriously. Raynee couldn't even make it past one dinner in the Johnson family. She was headstrong as always, which infuriated Wyatt's mother and sisters. Wyatt had dealt with the hot mess she left behind, but his family was still somewhat dissatisfied with the young maiden!

She was too straightforward, too abrupt. His family thought someone like her wasn't suited for someone like him.

However, the two of them clicked really well. If truth be told, he supported her dreams. He didn't like unmotivated women, and he didn't want Raynee to exist just to bear the Johnson family's child. That was why he admired her. He admired her for fighting for herself, for her dreams, and he was alright if she didn't want to settle down just yet. He would wait!

Regardless of that, he was tired. He was lovesick, and he had to constantly deal with his disgruntled family on her behalf. Sometimes, he would even have to travel long distances to comfort her or to watch her performances. They had gotten into a whole lot of arguments and fights because of some petty stuff, and every time that happened, he would either yield, or their mutual friends would help mend their relationship.

In the past, he thought that it was nice that they had common friends. Those mutual friends of theirs were the perfect messengers during their hardest times!

Now, Wyatt thought otherwise. All of their relationship flaws had been continuously exposed to other people! Due to the long distance, privacy in their relationship was almost nonexistent. If he had really done it with her that night, all of her friends would probably know about it by the end of the week!

The thought of it made him shudder!

If that was the case, she might even tell the world how many times they did it, and how long they did it for..judging from Raynee's personality, she definitely would not spare the details!

What was that woman doing?

"This won't happen again!" Wyatt lowered his head as he continued wiping her tears away. He then brushed his lips against her forehead, "If it does, I'm going to make them pay! I don't care who in Christ's name they are, I'm going to take them on a trip to h*ll! I promise! I owe you this time, alright? Don't be upset, okay?"

Wyatt subsequently applied some ointment on Waverly's bruises. He ate some food with her and stayed by her side till she fell asleep. Even till then, Waverly had never uttered a single word-

Wyatt tried to suppress most of the news, but words spread, and Waverly still made the headlines the next day. It caused an uproar, and even though Waverly's name wasn't disclosed in the news, people still suspected that it was the "Black Widow".

However, since both Wyatt and Waverly were single, most people didn't see Waverly as the "mistress course,

They gossiped about it, o

but the public only saw the two women fighting for a man, instead of the girlfriend exposing the mistress. Wyatt was thus also dragged into the spotlight.

Wyatt flipped through the news with a dark expression on his face. The public had turned their attention to him. Most of them sympathized with Raynee, and some even had the nerve to rebuke him. The more radical ones even slipped into

Raynee's DMs to slam Wyatt and Waverly. Those who were attacking

Waverly not only did it openly, but they also somehow found the company she was working in.

Wyatt had his men deal with the news, but the people were just so stubborn and prying.

They wanted to make a big fuss out of it. They started spamming Wyatt, and some even started harassing his sister.

"I've seen that b*tch before. She's just a wh*re!"

"LOL and I thought she'd at least have a nice body to seduce men, turns out she's just your average Jane Doe. Can't let someone like her marry into the Johnson family!"

"She's tasted the best, and now she wants more! Men get confused, but we can't let her get what she wants!"

"Obviously two women aren't enough. Find more people next time, strip her again, then tie her outside. Then we'll see if she'll still have the guts to go out! I bet even her parents would wanna disown her!"noveldrama

Wyatt was going mental. Why? Just why do people have so much to say? It wasn't even their business!

Wyatt picked out the phone in the office, enraged.

"Find out who this "loveJP" is. Close them down. Yes, the red bird-"

Wyatt spent a whole lot of effort subduing the news. He didn't want Waverly to get affected. She was traumatized enough.

He even got Waverly a bouquet of flowers after he got off work. However, she wasn't picking up his calls. He even went to her company, only to realize that she hadn't gone to work that day either. Wyatt eventually dashed to her home, but the gates were shut tight

"What's going on?"

He waited at the gate for ages when a familiar figure came into sight.

"Aunt McGowan, where's Waverly?"

"Mr. Johnson, it's you! Miss Castle got an urgent phone call this morning, and she

was in a bad mood, so she took an early leave and went back home. She

probably won't be back any sooner. I'm preparing to leave, too!"

The sudden news distressed him. When Wyatt finally came back to his senses, Aunt McGowen had already gone inside through the side door. Meanwhile, in her room, Waverly curled up and sat on her bed, her eyes empty-
