The Great Medical Saint

Chapter 573

Matthew didn't expect Wyatt to trouble him at this point. His anger flared up, and his expression darkened. "This was your idea. If anything goes wrong, don't come crying to me."

Wyatt picked up on Matthew's frustration but couldn't care less. "Don't waste my time with this. You can come in first, then we'll talk." After saying that, he hung up.

Wyatt knew this place was exclusive for the influential figure. Matthew at least needed a member to bring him inside.

Wyatt found it hard to believe that Matthew could enter. After all, Matthew was merely a thug turned vice president.

After the phone call ended, Matthew was about to head inside when someone exclaimed, "Dr. Grant?"

Matthew turned around. When he saw the speaker's face, he was taken aback as well. It was Lance!

"Hi. Mr. Stanford."

Back then, when Matthew treated Austin, he had a pretty bad impression of Lance. So, he was just talking to him to be polite.

Noticing Matthew's cold demeanor, Lance just smiled and went over to shake Matthew's hand. "What a stroke of luck running into you, Dr. Grant. You helped Dad get better last time, and I've been wanting to thank you since. Let's head inside and catch up."

As Lance spoke, he warmly invited Matthew into Arcadia. Matthew sported an indifferent look. "I've collected my fees for the treatment, so there's no need to thank me."

Matthew knew enough about Lance to figure out that he was trouble. He wasn't a grateful person who showed appreciation. Matthew had a hunch that things weren't as simple as they seemed.

Lance added with a grin, "Give me a chance to say thank you, Dr. Grant. I know I wasn't on my best behavior back then, but you've already hit me and scolded me. Can we just move on?"

Matthew nodded. "Fine."

He originally planned to force his way in, but since Lance invited him in, it saved him a lot of hassle.

Lance was overjoyed. "I can't thank you enough. Come on in."

After saying that, Lance led the way and brought Matthew inside Arcadia.

The staff member at the door watched the scene unfold. They didn't dare to stop Matthew anymore and respectfully said, "Welcome, Mr. Stanford and Mr. Grant."

As Matthew walked inside with Lance, he asked, "What do I need to get a membership at Arcadia?"

Lance was a little surprised. "Do you want to sign up as well? I know the owner. If she finds out you're joining, she'll be overjoyed for sure."

Matthew's medical skill was incredible. Knowing someone like him was like having an extra life. If Matthew became a member, the owner would owe Lance a favor. So, he really wanted Matthew to sign up.

Matthew shook his head. "Forget about it."

Lance was a little bummed out.

As they chatted, they made it to the lobby. The lobby had cozy couches and coffee tables. Each seating area had beautiful women hanging out and chatting in small groups. Some people glanced at the lobby entrance now and then.

A woman with a pointed face styled her hair in a bun. Dressed in a red strapless top, she had a killer body.

She just quietly sat there and indulged in her latte. Looking graceful and elegant, she exuded a unique charm.

Upon seeing Lance and Matthew come through the door, she set down her latte and walked over. "You're here, Mr. Stanford."

Lance spotted the woman and

chuckled. "Let me introduce you to someone important, Annika. This person is Dr. Grant. You're going to serve him today. Make sure to get him coffee and snacks. All I ask is for you to be more enthusiastic and observant."

Annika Feynman giggled. "Alright. I'll do my best."

Despite Annika's words, she didn't take it seriously.noveldrama
