Chapter 309 Live up to Reputation
Connor had no choice but to do the surgery himself.
Allison wasn't worried at all. She was snoozing in bed when an alarm suddenly blared in the hallway, jolting her awake.
Then, someone burst into her room. "Ms. Bennett, there's an emergency during the surgery. We need your help!"
Allison looked at the person, a bit surprised. "And you are...?"
The person replied, "Ms. Bennett, I'm Byron Bishop!"
Allison nodded, got out of bed, dressed quickly, and asked what was going on.
"There's been massive bleeding during the surgery!" Byron explained.
Allison said, "Connor might have secretly learned Joe's techniques, but learning and doing are two different things! Get me a set of therapy tools, quickly!"
Byron rushed to find the medical staff and brought back the therapy tools. Only then did Allison enter the operating room, disinfected, and changed into surgical attire. Byron, worried about Allison's safety, followed her in.
Allison instructed, "Get more blood bags, now!"
Connor was already panicking, not knowing what to do. Allison pushed him aside, quickly stopped the bleeding, and turned to the young doctors. "I need two assistants!"
The young doctor replied, "Okay, Bob, let's assist her!"
Allison checked the surgical site and turned to Byron. "We need to do a heart bypass. Are the materials ready?"
"Yes!"
Allison had injured one hand and could only use her left hand to operate, but she was just as efficient. Due to Connor's mistakes, Allison performed three heart bypasses. The surgery was quick, finishing in an hour and a half, leaving the young doctors in awe. "Dr. Bennett truly lives up to her reputation!"
After completing the sutures, Allison left the operating room. Tranquil Hospital had the best talent in Eldoria, so there were naturally people who could take good care of Bernard.
Byron escorted Allison back to her room. "Ms. Bennett, with Mr. Faith critically ill, you probably can't leave for now. Also, if you don't help decrypt the codes, they might harm you!"
Allison spoke, "Leave. When Bernard wakes up, tell him this: I reset the missile codes. If he wants to cooperate, he should do it properly. After all, he's the head of a government; he should act like one. And I don't want to see Connor again!"
Byron left, and Allison pressed a button behind her ear. "What's the situation outside?"
Carl responded, "Alexander is frantically looking for you. Should we let him come to Eldoria?"
"Absolutely not! Bernard wants to activate the missile system. He's dangerous, and the missiles are unstable. The best outcome is to destroy them! Now that he's just had surgery, I should have some time to maneuver. I'm planning to take the initiative!" Carl said, "No way, it's too dangerous! Leave the other matters to Felix. You need to rest and recover, or Alexander might go crazy, and I might not be able to stop him!" Allison smiled and lay back on the bed, laughing. "Tell him I miss him!"
Alexander received Carl's message while sitting in the car.
Carl asked, "Mr. Carter, are you really going to Eldoria? If your identity is discovered, it could be detrimental to Ms. Bennett."
Alexander sneered, "How much worse could it get? Allison will be fine. The ones in trouble will be them. I have other plans. I must ensure Allison returns home safely."Alexander went to Eldoria not as the CEO of the Carter Group but as a research instructor with a Novaria exchange group.
He swapped his usual attire for casual clothes, slung a backpack over his shoulder, and entered with a passport under the name Baron Jordan. Landon and Sabrina were with him.
Sabrina wasn't originally part of the exchange group but insisted on coming, worried about Allison's safety. As a network expert, she could indeed be useful. Landon had tried to talk her out of it but eventually gave in.
"Landon, this place is beautiful. It's my first time in Eldoria," Sabrina said, trying to lighten the mood.
Landon held Sabrina's hand, cautiously observing their surroundings. From the airport, surveillance cameras were everywhere, and their exchange group was followed the entire time.
"They're very wary of people from Novaria. I heard Mr. Faith is critically ill, and the situation in Eldoria is tense," Landon noted.
Alexander wasn't afraid, only worried about Allison's safety. "Which hospital is Allison in?"noveldrama
"Eldoria's Tranquil Hospital. Ms. Bennett's arm is injured but not seriously," Landon replied.
After checking into the hotel, the exchange group received a notice not to move around freely, as Eldoria was under lockdown.
As soon as Sabrina arrived, she took out her laptop. Although the room had signal jammers, they were no match for her. She quickly connected to a satellite and began tracking Allison's location.
The bio-tracker showed Allison was still in the hospital, her vital signs normal, which made Sabrina breathe a sigh of relief.
"Landon, how are we going to get Allison out? That place has the highest security level!" Sabrina asked.

"We need to understand the layout and current situation first, then figure out how to safely bring Ms. Bennett back! Eldoria's rules are different from ours in Novaria. We can't act rashly until we're sure," Landon said.
Sabrina nodded, feeling a bit down. Landon hugged her and took her to rest on the bed. She hadn't rested at all during the flight.
In Alexander's room, he stood by the window, smoking silently. The hotel was two blocks away from Tranquil Hospital. He could even see the hospital building but didn't know Allison's exact location.
After thinking for a while, he took out a phone and made a call. The other party quickly answered. "Vernon, it's Alexander. I'm in Eldoria," Alexander said.
Vernon, holding the phone, immediately stood up from the couch and rushed to his study.
"Alexander, are you crazy? Who told you to come here? It's dangerous, don't you know that?"
"I know, but I had to come. I can't let Allison take this risk alone," Alexander replied.
Vernon took a deep breath, pacing angrily in his study.
"I want to get into Tranquil Hospital," Alexander said.
"Impossible. Forget about it. The hospital is guarded by thousands. Everyone entering undergoes biometric verification. You can't get through. Since you're here, stay put. Bernard has woken up and is recovering. Allison saved him, so he won't harm her for now," Vernon responded.
Alexander gripped the phone, his worry not alleviated but intensified. "The longer she stays here, the more dangerous it becomes. If possible, I want her out of Tranquil Hospital. Who knows what other lunatics in Eldoria might use her for!" Vernon's expression turned serious. "I'll do my best, but Alexander, you need to control your emotions and conserve your strength to save Allison."
