Chapter 308 Fingerprint Collection
Bernard had a soft spot for Allison, who stood confidently before him. Unlike others who approached with fear and reverence, Allison was calm and unafraid.
Only those with true confidence could be so bold, and Bernard had a particular fondness for bold people.
Bernard spoke, "Allison, also known as Gaia, co-founder of Genesis Creations, the world's top hacker, a medical genius with over two hundred patents, and a PhD in physics. Ms. Bennett, your skills are extraordinary."
Allison nodded, acknowledging his words. Allison asked, "So, Mr. Faith, you brought me here to work for you?"
Bernard nodded. "If you're willing, name your terms."
Allison replied, "Anything but medicine and weapons, I might consider."
Bernard's expression shifted slightly, hinting their interest lay in those fields. "Ms. Bennett, you're here as our expert. Name any condition. What I need is the key to the weapon launch system."
Allison raised an eyebrow. She had been captured recently for the same reason. Could it be... "So, those weapons ended up with you, or did you steal them?"
Bernard smirked. "As expected, Ms. Bennett, you're sharp."
Allison responded, "I already told you, weapons are off the table."
Bernard's face darkened. He suddenly grabbed Allison by the throat, his eyes filled with menace. "Do you think you have a choice? Now that you're in Eldoria, there's no escape."
Allison looked at Bernard, a smile playing on her lips. She swiftly jabbed a needle into his neck, and Bernard blacked out instantly.
Allison got off the bed and pressed a spot behind her ear. "Did you get the fingerprint?"
Sabrina's excited voice came through her earpiece. "Got it, Allison, you're amazing!" Allison sighed, glancing at the heavily guarded door before sitting back on the couch. "Now that we have it, tell Felix to hurry up. I can't stay here long."
She had placed a device on her neck before arriving. When Bernard grabbed her, it scanned his fingerprint. This technology was Allison's own invention, and it worked perfectly.
After ending the call with Sabrina, Allison stood up, removed the needle from Bernard's neck, and waited for him to wake up.
Bored, she picked up Bernard's phone and started playing a game.
Bernard regained consciousness and found himself on a hospital bed. He sat up quickly, seeing Allison sitting cross-legged on the couch, playing a game on his phone.
"Allison! Guards, get in here!" Bernard was shaking with rage. It was probably the first time someone had dared to lay a hand on him in such a humiliating way.
Allison warned, "Mr. Faith, if I were you, I'd calm down. Your blood pressure is unstable. You might have a stroke."
The guards burst in, guns pointed at Allison. She remained unfazed, still playing her game.
A guard said, "Ms. Bennett, show some respect to Mr. Faith, or we won't be so polite!"

"Polite?" Allison smirked, not even looking up from the game. "You guys have a funny way of showing it."
Allison finished her game and tossed the phone back to Bernard. "Your phone's security is pretty solid, but it has two hidden spyware apps. Probably planted by your political enemies or rivals?"
Bernard checked the phone and indeed found the spyware. Furious, he threw the phone to the head of security. "Find out who did this!"
The security chief hurried out with the phone, while Allison casually bit into an apple from the table. "Here's a tip, Mr. Faith. Genesis Creations' phones have the best security in the world. If you need one, I can give you a discount."
Bernard smirked and sat down in front of Allison. "Allison, you're quite the character. How about joining me? I can make you my wife, the most powerful woman in Eldoria."
Allison laughed coldly. "Sorry to burst your bubble, but you're too old for me. Besides, I can't stand unfaithful men. I've heard you swing both ways. That's just too messy for me."
"Allison!" Bernard, enraged again, slapped Allison across the face.
He had used his left hand to choke her earlier and now his right hand to slap her. Perfect, she had collected all the fingerprints she needed.
Allison said, "If I were you, Mr. Faith, I'd control my temper. Your eyes are bloodshot, your face is flushed, your heart rate is 140, and you're experiencing chest pain. I suggest you get checked out to avoid sudden death."noveldrama
"How dare you curse Mr. Faith! You're out of line!" A guard moved to hit her, but Bernard pushed him away and suddenly collapsed to the floor.
Allison spoke, "Get him to an MRI immediately. You have special medication, right? Use it now, or he'll be dead in fifteen minutes!"

The guards, panicked, rushed Bernard to the medical unit. If something happened to him, it would be a major issue. Connor personally conducted the examination, and the results were exactly as Allison had said.
Allison, after being slapped, went to the bathroom to wash her face. As she was drying off, Connor burst in. "Ms. Bennett, Mr. Faith has had a heart attack and needs surgery."
Allison looked at Connor, puzzled. "Then go do it. Why are you telling me?" Connor said, "You're the expert in this field!"
Allison shook her head. "Connor, I can't perform the surgery. My arm is injured."
Connor frowned. Allison had been shot in the right arm, making her unable to operate. Connor asked, "Can you at least guide us?"
Allison replied, "No, Mr. Faith hasn't exactly been kind to me. I still have his handprint on my face. Why should I save him?"
Connor's expression darkened, losing its previous friendliness. "Allison, you should know that if you don't save Mr. Faith, we won't let you off!"
Allison said, "Don't threaten me. If he dies, you're the one in trouble, not me! As his chief doctor, you should have diagnosed his condition. Your failure is your fault. I won't do the surgery, and killing me won't help. Besides, you wouldn't dare."
Allison wasn't just confident; it was the truth. Killing her would be a greater loss.
Bernard might be a government leader, but the Faith family had plenty of candidates for such roles.
What do you think?
