Chapter 90

Chapter 90:.

As a dance teacher in the garden, Whitney was authorized to punish students.

However, her humiliating attitude was such that even Miss Lynn, who greeted the schoolchildren at the school gate, couldn’t take it anymore.

She said, “Mrs. Lowe, let’s not do that. There are a lot of people coming in and out of here. It won’t be nice for other parents to misunderstand that we’re administering corporal punishment.”

Whitney scoffed, “Why would that be? Only when the garden is strict with its students will we be able to brag about how good this international garden is. It is precisely because of people like you, who coddle children, that Cheryl Smith has developed the bad habit of lying.”

His sermon made Miss Lynn’s cheeks burn. She was about to say something when Whitney added, “I know, they’re all children from rich families, so you don’t dare scold them. Since I’m the one giving them lessons now, you can stop being so nosy.”

The teachers in the international gardens were all doctoral students from prestigious universities.

They were fluent in at least three languages, so they could communicate with the children without any obstacles.

After being hired, they even had to study psychology, early childhood education courses and undergo other professional training before they could officially start working there.

Of course, the salaries were also outrageously high.

Miss Lynn came from an ordinary family, so the fact that she was a kindergarten teacher showed that she was exceptionally talented. She narrowed her eyes and said, “Mrs. Lowe, no matter what, corporal punishment is still against the law.”

Whitney, however, remained impassive. Instead, she went so far as to say, “Oh, feel free to call the police and have me arrested, then.”

Miss Lynn, “…”

She clenched her fists. “Mrs. Lowe, let’s not go that far! Evidently, you were the one who got aggressive that day and insisted that Cherry wasn’t fit to dance. Her mother only said she was going to get someone more professional because she was afraid it would affect the child…”

Whitney had an icy stare. With an air of arrogance befitting entertainers, she said, “Miss Lynn, you don’t have to make excuses when you make mistakes. No matter what happens, children must do what they say.”

He looked at Cherry and said, “You can’t undo your lie. People have to take responsibility for their actions. Cheryl Smith, go stand in the doors.”

After saying that, she took Sinead’s hand and prepared to enter the garden.

At that moment, a voice reached her ears. “Tsk, Whitney. Have you already learned how to bully children during these few years we haven’t seen each other?”

Tanya took off her sunglasses. She hadn’t said anything so far because she wanted to see if there were any reasonable teachers in the garden. If there weren’t, it would be best to withdraw as soon as possible.

Secondly, she was trying to understand the situation through their exchange of words.

When she glanced at Cherry, she immediately saw that the girl was sticking her tongue out at her. Immediately, she was caught between laughter and tears. It was no wonder that the night before the girl had slept with her and insisted that she take her to the garden today.

And here she was, thinking the little girl missed her.

Tanya mentally excused Cherry as she admired the expression on Whitney’s face, which looked like she had just seen a ghost.

Tanya scoffed, “A few years ago you were just a bad dancer, but unexpectedly, even your eyesight has become bad after a few years.” Cherry’s physique has not only reached the golden ratio, but her limbs are long and slender – she clearly has great potential to be a dancer!

“If it weren’t for the fact that her mother adores her too much and doesn’t have the heart to make her suffer the pain of training for splits and leg stretches, I would have taken her as my student a long time ago. Who do you think you are, how dare you say she has no potential to dance?

If she doesn’t have any dancing potential, then who does? That chubby daughter of yours? This has to be the biggest joke I’ve heard this year!”

Whitney, “!!!”

She was already speechless – the sight of Tanya made her feel like she was back in the competition from a few years ago!

Back then, she was young and high-spirited, little did she know that there would always be someone better out there. On the eve of the competition, she went up to Tanya, who had already won two championships in a row, and said, “I’m sure I’ll be the champion this year!”.

Tanya hadn’t said anything at the time, but right afterwards she had used her own abilities to make him eat his own words in the competition.

No one had ever managed to outshine Tanya after that!

To date, she was the only person in the history of international ballroom dancing who had successfully performed moves of the highest level of difficulty.

Back then, he had looked at her when he finished dancing.

That look of his had exuded the contempt of a champion.

For many years, Whitney had been hailed as the best dancer in America, but each time, in the dark of night, he always saw that contemptuous look in Tanya’s eyes….

And now, she was here! She was here again.

Whitney took a startled step back. Suddenly, she shoved Sinead toward Miss Lynn, turned and jumped into her car as if she were running away. She slammed the door shut and gasped for breath.

Everyone was totally baffled.

No one had expected Whitney to be so weak.

The corners of Tanya’s lips even spasmed at the sight of her. She handed Cherry to Miss Lynn and said, “Hi, I’m Tanya Turner. Cherry is very talented at dancing.”

Miss Lynn, “!”

Oh my goodness!

Cherry’s mother had really managed to convince Tanya!

Was this what they meant by ‘faith moves mountains’?

She looked at Tanya with starry eyes and said, “Miss Smith has done so much! Good job.”

Tanya was puzzled.

Nora was still sleeping at home while she took Cherry to school. On top of that, she had to help her teach someone a lesson. Good job? Yeah, sure.

Seeing that Cherry had entered the garden, Tanya turned and gave Whitney a sharp look.

In the car.

Whitney hurried back in fright. As she looked at the video she had just shot, she instructed the chauffeur, “To Mr. Lowe’s office!”.

“Yes, ma’am.”

When Whitney arrived at the Lowes’ company, her husband, Bob Lowe, was about to leave. He was a bit taken aback when he saw her. “Why are you here, honey?”

Whitney grabbed his hand and said, “Honey, I might be in trouble.”noveldrama

A smiling Bob asked, “What’s wrong?”

Whitney pulled out her cell phone and began playing the video she had recorded. She pointed to the luscious and lovely Cherry on the screen and related what had happened to her. He said, “… I have already checked her background. She’s a girl from a single-mother family and has no father, so I harassed her a bit unreservedly. But in the end, her mother has managed to get Tanya! Darling, considering how arrogant Tanya is, there’s no way ordinary people can get her to help her. Is there any chance that this girl comes from some sort of influential background?”

Bob smiled and patted her hand reassuringly. “There are only a few families more powerful than us in New York. The Smith children go to school, while the Hunts hire private tutors for all their children, so you don’t have to worry. I think it’s a coincidence that he got Tanya Turner to help him.”

It was then that Whitney let out a sigh of relief. Then, she realized she had made a mountain out of a molehill.

She let out a cold laugh and said, “I can rest easy now. Isn’t the reason she went out of her way to get Tanya nothing more than to take the center spot away from Sinead? Ha! I will definitely make her unable to bear the consequences of her actions.”

She wanted to dance, didn’t she? You have to know that there are many types of ways to teach someone to dance! For example, leg stretches… splits…..

Bob comforted her some more before leaving.

Today he was going to discuss with Mr. Hunt his future partnership plans.

When he arrived at the Hunt Corporation, the secretary led him upstairs.

As he took in the unique atmosphere around him that was not found anywhere else in New York, Bob’s respect for Justin grew a little more.

When they arrived, Sean stopped them. He said, “I’m sorry, Mr. Lowe. Please hold on for a moment. Mr. Hunt is accompanying your son while he does his homework. His work schedule only starts at ten o’clock.”

Justin was said to have a son whom he had very well protected. To date, there were very few who knew whether his child was a boy or a girl.

Bob was quick to respond ingratiatingly, “It’s okay! Mr. Hunt is a good father.”

At ten o’clock, the office door opened.

Bob and the others entered.

He kept his head down, not daring to look at Justin. However, his gaze drifted to the side out of the corner of his eye to see a small boy sitting earnestly doing his homework.

Bob was quick to withdraw his gaze.

The next moment, however, his head suddenly snapped back up.

Why did this child look so familiar? He actually looked exactly like the little girl in the video Whitney had shown him a moment ago.
