Duder Dominic's curious gare, Celeste catty took a sip of tex from her small cup, looking rather pleased with herself "Tacked him straight into the stinkiest toilet in the Earlier room so he could reflect on his sins while taking in the full experience"
Haha! That's my girl! Well done! Dominic sighed wearity, giving his daughter a proud par on the shoulder
The father-daughter duo clinked their cups together, grinning from ear to ear. Just then, Dominic's phone
Tang
His smile immediately faded. "It's Mr. Chapman!"
He answered the call and listened for a while. The laughter that had yet to completely leave his face slowly disappeared, replaced by an increasingly complicated expression.
By the time he hung up, his face had turned incredibly grim.
Still snacking on chips without a care in the world, Celeste glanced up at him. "Dad, why'd you stop laughing?"
Dominic wanted to cry but was too shocked to shed a tear.
"My dear daughter, be honest with me-exactly which restroom did you kick that pervert into?"
"The one to the right of our private room. What's the big deal? Why do you look like you're about to cry?"
Dominic felt utterly hopeless. "You fool, that was Mr. Chapman!"
The chips in Celeste's hand slipped onto the table as she froze in shock. "Huh?!”
Five minutes later, Rex sat in the private room, his face full of resentment. A faint yet undeniable stench lingered around him, making the air in the room slightly suffocating. Dominic held a warm towel in his hands, stuck between wanting to offer it and hesitating in sheer embarrassment.
As for Celeste...
She stood in the farthest corner of the room, head hanging low. The arrogance she had displayed earlier had completely vanished-she was now as meek as a quail.
How was she supposed to know that this flashy pretty boy was actually Rex Chapman, the chairman of Ydris Group?!
A CEO of such a massive corporation-shouldn't he be accompanied by assistants and bodyguards whenever he went out? Yet, here he was, without an entourage, disguised with just sunglasses and a mask, looking like a walking luxury brand advertisement. Who would ever associate him with a high-profile business tycoon?
And to top it off, he had sneaked into her school to find Charmaine.
If that wasn't perverted, then what was?!
Awkwardly forcing a smile, Dominic said, "Mr. Chapman, if you don't mind, would you like to wipe yourself
off a bit?"

Rex scoffed through his nose. "If wiping was enough, why would people wash their clothes?"
Dominic quickly shut his mouth, unsure of what else to say.

Meanwhile, Celeste, who had been silent, immediately felt indignant upon hearing Rex's tone. "You d*mn- ahem-Mr. Chapman, this was my mistake, and I take full responsibility. But don't take it out on my dad!"
Dominic was horrified and quickly signaled her to shut up, then turned to Rex with an apologetic smile. “Mr. Chapman, please don't take offense. My daughter has been spoiled by me and lacks proper manners. If she has offended you in any way, I sincerely ask for your forgiveness."
Rex let out a cold chuckle, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "Oh, I wouldn't dare hold a grudge against her. Who knows? She might throw money at my face again
or, worse, kick me into a toilet when I least expect it."
Dominic was nearly in a panic. "Celeste, hurry up and apologize to Mr. Chapman."
"But I didn't do anything wrong! He-"
One sharp glare from Dominic and Celeste immediately deflated.
After all, Rex was the biggest investor-the true financial powerhouse. Compared
to him, even her own father had to bow his head.
Celeste stiffly walked up to him, her posture rigid as she reluctantly admitted
defeat to the power of money. "I'm sorry, Mr. Chapman."
Rex arrogantly lifted his chin, glancing at the girl who was visibly gritting her teeth in frustration. He smirked. "Apology accepted. But about this stench ...
Dominic quickly interjected, "Mr. Chapman, please wait a moment. I'll head to the mall next door and get you a fresh set of clothes."
Without waiting for Rex's response, he swiftly left the room. Before stepping out, he shot a warning glance at his daughter. "Behave yourself and properly apologize to Mr. Chapman. He has a generous heart-if you're sincere, he won't hold this against you."
As the private room door shut, only Celeste and Rex remained inside, staring at each other.
Rex leaned back leisurely, arms crossed over his chest. He smirked. "Your dad sure is protective of you. He's trying so hard to appease me, afraid that I'll make things difficult for you."
"My dad has always cared for me."
Celeste narrowed her eyes as she studied him. "So if you have any grievances, take them out on me. Targeting my dad wouldn't be a very gentlemanly move."
Rex raised an eyebrow, amused. "Oh? Now you're negotiating with me? Tell me, how do you plan to make it up to me?"
Celeste's eyes flickered with contemplation. She wasn't in a rush. Instead, she sat down across from him. "Let's sort out our misunderstandings first. Once we clear things up, we can devise a proper solution. Don't you agree, Mr. Chapman?"
