Why was Lennon here?!

"Here for business," he curtly responded.

As they prepared to leave, Lennon walked past them. To everyone's surprise, Mandy, usually fiery, rushed up to him.

Lennon staggered, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth. "Had enough?"

"It ain't finished yet!"

Gritting her teeth, Mandy prepared to charge forward. However, Cherise restrained her, holding Mandy's arm firmly but gently.

Glaring fiercely at Lennon, Mandy unleashed a torrent of emotions she had bottled up. "Listen, Lennon! I came to Yatesville to settle the score with you once and for all!"

"How casually you used to treat Lucy, huh?"

"Now she can't even pursue her dream of being a doctor, can't enjoy a summer day in shorts without her joints screaming on rainy days-all because of you!"noveldrama

"And now you're all lovey-dovey with Violet, can't keep your hands off her! Have you got any compassion left?"

"Your precious Violet nearly took Lucy's life and her unborn child's four years ago!"

"Is this how you repay the woman who loves you?"

"You're worse than an animal!"

Lennon stood stoically, absorbing Mandy's accusations in silence.

Finally, he turned to her, his expression unreadable behind a mask of calm. "Are you quite finished?"

His unwavering demeanor only served to intensify Mandy's boiling anger!

Meeting Cherise and Lucy had brought immense joy to Mandy, who had few friends.

As she observed Cherise and Lucy pulling away, she felt a growing sense of isolation and helplessness consuming her.

"Mandy, don't even bother," Cherise interjected firmly, giving Lennon a pointed stare. "You can go now."

Lennon shot Mandy a smug grin. "If you want to stay in her good graces, maybe watch your language around me."

"Colin and Cherise are wasted and only have one kid home. There's no need to stress about them stirring up trouble. Just move along."

His words fueled Mandy's rage, igniting a burning desire to lash out at him with all her fury!

Cherise held Mandy back and urged her to leave. "Let's get out of here."

"No matter how annoying he is, he's nothing compared to Lucy, right?"

Finally, Mandy exhaled deeply, shooting a nasty glare at Lennon. "You're gonna regret this!"

Lennon just smirked, saying nothing.

Cherise guided the furious Mandy away, each step fueling her simmering anger.

As they entered, Cherise looked back and saw Lennon standing under the moonlight, his silhouette tall and filled with melancholy.

As she recalled her first meeting with Damien, she couldn't help but remember the overwhelming loneliness and sorrow that seemed to envelop him.

Wasn't Lennon happily engaged to Violet now?

"Why would he..." Cherise's thoughts faltered, hesitating to delve further into her suspicions.

She hurried into the room, taking charge as she guided Mandy to attend to Lucy's needs.

"Cherry, Lucy's burning up. Can you grab a cold towel?" Mandy's voice trembled with concern as she sat anxiously beside Lucy on the bed in the main bedroom, her fingers lightly brushing Lucy's feverish forehead.

Cherise nodded in response, swiftly making her way to the bathroom.

The room filled with the rush of the faucet as she ran the towel under cold water, her hands noticeably shaking in the dim light.
