Redwood lay before Matthew, his face pale and bloodless. One arm and one leg were reduced to nothing but shredded fragments of flesh and bone. The scene on the street quickly drew the attention of onlookers.

"Isn't that Redwood, one of Dominic's men from the Viper Crew?"noveldrama

"Yeah, he's always been so arrogant, thinking he's untouchable because Dominic's his boss. He's been involved in all kinds of nasty business." "Wait, isn't that Mr. Larden from Lopez Mining Group?"

Matthew stared at Redwood with an expressionless face. After a long silence, he finally spoke.

"If you'd just paid for the door, none of this would have happened."

Matthew's calm words sent a wave of dread through Redwood, his eyes widening as he felt death closing in.

Hearing their words, Matthew looked at the miners in mild confusion. "Is it true that Dominic enjoys challenging people to duels?"

Angus glanced outside at the corpse and asked, "Should I have someone remove the body, Matteo?"

Matthew smiled faintly. "No need. I want Redrod Dominic to know that not only did I kill his subordinate, but I left him here, exposed to the sun for all to see."

Angus' expression shifted subtly. It was clear that Matthew's actions were aimed directly at Dominic Romero's pride and authority.

"What's the endgame?" Angus asked.

"We need to draw him out," Matthew replied cryptically, offering no further explanation. He didn't expect Angus to fully grasp his strategy.
