Man With Super Medical Skill (Matthew)

Chapter 3484 Digging

A quiet man emerged from the crowd, directing his attention towards Angus and Matthew as he spoke.

He was among the few mining traders willing to confront Angus and had been relentlessly teasing him.

"Alright then, Mr. Lopez," the man said with a grin. "Let's prove to the lady here if the mine you purchased is really worthless." Initially, Angus intended to disregard the crowd and move forward, but Matthew suddenly interjected.

He nodded as he noticed Matthew's serene and composed attitude.

"Since everyone seems so keen to uncover the truth about this mine's value. Let's reveal the facts today," he stated confidently.

He retrieved a walkie-talkie and commanded some orders.

Within minutes, a group of workers arrived, equipped with pickaxes, shovels, and a rock crusher.

"Everyone, start digging right away!" he ordered, gesturing towards the mine in front of them.

"Yes, sir!" replied the workers.

The workers quickly got to work, breaking away at the rock.

Before long, pieces of iron ore were uncovered one after the other, leaving the doubters in the crowd speechless.

"Mr. Lopez, what's the purpose of excavating surface ore at this time?" someone asked.

"Even if you find a lot of ores on the surface, there's no way you'll discover anything below!" another stone trader insisted.

The sharp, mocking tone grated on Matthew's nerves, causing him to frown slightly.

Without a moment's hesitation, he moved forward, making his way to the workers who were busy excavating. His voice was steady yet authoritative. "Listen up, everyone, cease what you're doing and excavate where I'm standing-right here!"

His commanding tone caused all the workers to stop. They glanced up at him, then nervously looked to Angus for approval.

The workers swiftly went to where he had just been after noticing Angus nodding in agreement.

They began excavating the ground as instructed with their pickaxes in hand.noveldrama

"Look at what they are doing! Ha! Mr. Lopez, did you bring this guy here to make me laugh?" someone exclaimed.

"Just observe where they are digging! There's not even a hint of ore-just plain dirt!" another stone trader declared.

The crowd burst into laughter, openly ridiculing Matthew and Angus, eagerly awaiting their embarrassment.

As the workers continued to dig deeper, all they unearthed was soil-no indications of any ore.

One meter, five meters, ten meters...

Hours went by, and the pit was now ten meters deep.

Yet, all that emerged were dirt and scattered stones. There wasn't even the slightest trace of iron ore. "Mr. Lopez, it has already gone ten meters deep, and there's not even a hint of ore." said the stone trader.

"I would say you've been completely tricked by this guy-400,000 Dornia Emerald," someone remarked. "Tsk tsk. It vanished in an instant!" another stone trader proclaimed.

"Honestly, do you really think someone like Mr. Lopez worries about such a small sum?" someone asked.

The rival stone traders huddled

together, openly ridiculing. They

raised their voices deliberately

ensuing Angus could hear every remark.

At the edge of the pit, his expression darkened.

With all his years of experience in mining, digging ten meters without discovering even a tiny piece of ore typically indicated a worthless mine.

He looked at Matthew, his voice subdued and almost regretful. "Matteo, it really appears that there's nothing in this mine. Why don't we call it a day? It's just one mine, not worth lingering over."

Before he could reply, the loud taunts from nearby traders became even more scathing.

"See, even Mr. Lopez acknowledges it's futile!" someone stated.

"And here I thought that pretty boy had some real expertise. What a joke!" said the stone trader.

"Real expertise? I'd wager he's just a pretty face who stumbled out of a brothel!" another individual exclaimed.

Angus' brow furrowed tightly.

The blatant insults aimed at Matthew ignited a spark of anger within him, disrupting the composure he had managed to hold until now.

"Mr. Lopez, don't be angry with those fools," Matthew replied calmly, keeping his gaze on the pit.

He observed the worker's progress for a moment before whispering, "It's about time..."
