Falling for My Contractual Wife

Chapter 746

Daisy hurriedly followed behind Grace and asked, "I'm talking to you! What should your father and I do if you take all the money to treat Austin? What about your brother?"noveldrama

Grace ignored Daisy and quickened her pace.

"Grace! You idiot! If you don't ask Brian for money, I'll!" Daisy shouted behind her.

Grace stopped and turned to look at Daisy.

A few seconds later, Grace suddenly realized something. She approached Daisy and asked, "Did you go gambling again?"

Daisy did not expect that coming. Her eyes panicked. "I-I didn't. What gambling? I didn't ask you for money."

"Yeah, you didn't. Now that Austin is sick, your last bit of conscience won't allow you to ask me for money, so you want to ask Brian for it. Am I right?" Grace said.

Grace hit the nail on the head. Daisy straightened her back and wanted to appear self-righteous. "I didn't gamble! Brian is Austin's father. Shouldn't he pay for her medical expenses? I'm helping you, for heaven's sake!"

"You don't have to worry about the medical expenses. Just remember not to meddle in my business. Go home," Grace coldly ordered Daisy to leave and pushed Austin into the elevator.

Daisy stomped her feet in anger and cursed before leaving the hospital.

Not long after they returned to the ward, Brian came.

He had brought some soup with him. Grace thought he must have asked the maids to make it.

"Gracey, have some soup with Austin. I'll settle the discharge procedures," Brian said.

Grace turned her head to look at him. Her gaze was as indifferent as if she was looking at a stranger. "The discharge procedures? What for?"

Brian said, "I asked the doctor just now. Austin can go home and recuperate. The medicine can help control it. When the child is born, the bone marrow-"

"There's no need." Before Brian could finish, Grace interrupted him.

Brian frowned. "What do you mean?"

"I mean, Austin's illness is not of your concern. I won't have another child with you," Grace replied calmly.

Brian narrowed his eyes slightly.

Brian would not listen to his grandpa's opinion. He had already decided to marry Grace and move out.

Brian did not know why she had become like this after he had only left for a day.

"Gracey, what happened?" he asked.

Suddenly, he saw Austin's clothes. He was enlightened. "You went home today?"

Brian panicked. "What did you hear?"

Grace said nothing. She just looked at Brian coldly.

Brian pinched in between his eyebrows. "Grace, you don't have to take Grandpa's words to heart."

He said firmly, "I've decided to apply for a marriage license with you. We'll get married and move out. I've arranged everything. From now on, our family of three will be together, and no one will disturb us.

Tears welled up in Grace's eyes. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

"Leave me alone, Brian. I don't want to see you again."

Brian's heart ached. He grabbed

Grace's arm tightly. "Grace, you do

have to care about Grandpa's words. He has no right to control meTM

A teardrop fell. Grace lowered her head and quickly wiped the tears from her

eyes. She took his hand and went outside.
