Chandra's strange behavior utterly confused Rosalie. Why exactly did this woman come here?

"Wait," Rosalie called out to her.

Chandra turned around. "Is there anything else?"

"How will you deal with Justin exactly?"noveldrama

"Him?" Chandra said indifferently, "Do you want me to spare him?"

"But of course!" Rosalie exclaimed. "Don't forget, you guys started it first."

"No problem. I'll take it that it never happened and I won't cause him trouble. Happy?"

Rosalie was getting increasingly confused by the minute. "What exactly is your motive? Why did you..."

"What?" Chandra said with a chuckle. "Will you only find it normal if I kick up a huge fuss about it?"

Based on the Chandra Rosalie knew, it was expected of her to kick up a big fuss about the incident, but Rosalie naturally didn't want her to do so. It was exactly what she wanted.

Now that she had gotten what she wanted, she felt confused about what Chandra wanted.

"Don't worry. I'm a woman of my word. I won't waste my time on that man."

Chandra walked to the door and held the door handle, but she suddenly turned her head around and said, "Ms. Young, perhaps we can meet for a meal another time and get to know each other better. I think we might have some misunderstandings about each other."

Rosalie found it hilarious. "Why do we need to get to know each other better?"

"Again, you were once married to my grandson."

"But we're divorced," Rosalie added.

Chandra glanced at her and said nothing before opening the door to leave. When she arrived at the elevator lobby, she saw Yerick returning with the baby in his arms.

Chandra's gaze softened when it landed on the baby in Yerick's arms.

"May I carry him?"

Yerick took a step back and said warily, "No."

Chandra suppressed her anger and forced a smile. "Sure, forget it, then."

She surveyed Yerick from head to toe. "You're still a kid, aren't you? What are you doing hanging around Rosalie?"

"What's that gotta do with you? I don't even know you. Hmph!" Yerick left with Steve in his arms.

Chandra stared at his retreating back, and sighed. She then entered the elevator.

After Yerick returned to Rosalie's

apartment, he immediately asked, "Rose, what did that woman tell you? She looked so fierce, I'm sure she's no good."

"Nothing much. Don't worry, I'm fine. I'll go back to preparing dinner, you can continue playing with Steve."

With that, Rosalie returned to the kitchen.

Thinking back on Chandra's words, Rosalie pulled her phone out of her pocket and sent Justin a text.

Rosalie sent him to the door.
