It had been two days, and Madeleine stretched in my arms as she woke up. Her body felt like her normal temperature, so I knew her heat had to be over. She turned to look at me and smiled when she saw I was awake.

"Good morning." She said, kissing me. Then, her eyes looked surprised.

"The heat is over." She whispers, and I smile at her.

"Yes, are you feeling okay?" I ask her, and she smiles.

"Yes, just tired." She answers.

"You can rest today," I tell her.

"Thank you." She says as I get out of bed.

"I will make sure someone comes with food to you, and I will just go see Dad and check what has been going on for the last few days," I tell her as I get dressed.

I needed to talk to Dad, and something was going on. I had felt it the night before something was wrong.

"Okay, thank you." She says, smiling at me.

I sit on the bed, bend to her, and kiss her softly, caressing her face. Then I stood up and walked home to Dad and Mom.

I walked I to the house, and Mom came out of the kitchen. Most people didn't believe it when they heard the queen liked to cook.

"Noah, is it over?" She asked me, surprised.

"Hey, Mom. Yes, the heat is gone. Kendra was right about the injection.noveldrama

"Good, your Dad and Kyle took Enzo out for a run along the borders," Mom tells me.

"Okay, thank you, mom. I will find them. I asked Kendra to check on Maddy to make sure she was okay. And ordered some food to be sent over there." I tell her, and she smiles.

"I am so proud of you, my son. You have grown a lot since you found out about Madeleine. I know your Dad is very proud, too. Remember to rest, too. The heat isn't just hard on the female." Mom tells me.

"I will, Mom. I want to check up on everything." I tell her, and she smiles.

"Okay Then. See you soon, my Son." Mom says, and I leave the house.

'Find them.' I tell Lucian, And we shift into his form.

'Easy.' He says and starts running.

It doesn't take Lucian long to locate them, and Lucian is faster than anyone, so

we are quickly picking up their scents.

"Noah," Dad says as I come towards them between the trees.

"Hey. Did you find anything?" I ask them.

"You know," Dad says, not as a question but as a statement.

"I do. I felt the breach. And we are not the only ones." I tell them, and Dad realizes

I know all of it.

There had been a breach on the

borders last night, but the weird thing was that it wasn't just here. But at two other packs had been having a breach too. And it happens precisely at the same time in all three places. Here, Madeleine's parents pack and Mom's old pack.

"What do you mean? No one has reported a breach. And you know they would.” Dad said.

"They might not know. You felt it here be your senses are much stronger because you are a king, not a regular Alpha. And no one attacked. It was more as if they were testing if they could." I tell him.

"Where else?" Dad asks.

"Alpha Louis's pack and Dark Forest Pack," I say, and Dad looks at me with surprised eyes.

"Kyle, double the forces along the border. Enzo, you make sure the warriors are ready. This is not a coincidence."

"Yes, Sir." They both say, and we all begin running back towards the pack.

'You should be resting.' Dad tells me in a mindlink.

'I will later, this is more important. I would have come last night, but I didn't want to leave her while the heat was still there. And I know not of the breaches had led to an attack, so I waited.' I tell him.

'You did the right thing. I am proud of you.' Dad says.

'Thank you, Dad.' I say.

"I will call Louis and Carter. Enzo,

you sending fifty warriors to Louis. I do not want them unprotected. Something is going on. Until we know what it is, we need to have our eyes, heads, and senses open. None of us will block each other. We need to be able to get in touch. Dad says as we are back by the houses.

“Noah, be sure Madeleine knows where to go if there is an attack," Enzo says.

And Dad nods his head.

"Yes, good thinking Enzo. She needs to know." Dad says.

"I will go to her now," I tell them.

"Good. Enzo, you talk to Rose. I will mindlink Matt and Kyle u take care of Kate

and Greta." Dad orders, and they both bow.

I rush back to the castle, knowing

that Maddy needs to know even if I do not want to worry her. She is sleeping and looks so peaceful, but I sit next to her, touching her face gently. She slowly wakes up and looks at me.
