My head was hurting badly, and it was really hard to open my eyes. At first, I didn't understand why I was feeling like this, but then I remembered we were attacked. I forced my eyes open and realized the place I was in, was all dark, like a basement. And I had no idea how long I had been here.noveldrama

I looked around and breathed out in relief when I saw Noah, he was unconscious

but chained up to the wall. They would not have chained him if he was dead, so I relaxed a little bit and moved over to him.

"Noah," I whispered, but he didn't respond at all. And it looked like they had beaten him up.

"Noah, my sweet brother. Wake up." I whisper again and gasp when I accidentally touch a chain, and it burns me.

I looked closely at the chain, and it wasn't silver, but then I smelled the scent. They had laced the chains in wolfsbane. I looked around and found a piece of cloth and covered my hands in it, trying to pull at the chain. But it didn't work, my strength was badly weakened and it did take much before the wolfsbane got through the cloth.

I must have made a noise or something because a door opened, and two men came inside.

"So the princess is finally awake." One of them said with an Italian accent and I looked at him.

"I want to have some fun." The other said, starting to open his belt.

"No, you heard our orders. She is not going to be hurt." The first one said, and I breathed out.

"She won't tell, and I love her. Her mate killed my friends." That's when I recognized him, and he was the one that got away. That night, Enzo saved me, the one I fought before he ran away.

"I don't care, we have orders, and you are not breaking them." The first one says, and the other growls but closes his belt again.

"Do you think we need to give that one an injection more?" The second one asks.

"He is still unconscious. Let's go again." The first one says, and they walk out and lock the door.

They were, without doubt, from Italy, and I knew they had to be Alpha Carlos's

men.

"Noah." I try again, but he still does not respond. And I am worried.

I know that he is strong, very strong. That he is special, even though he doesn't have his wolf yet. But wolfsbane is poisonous for us, and he doesn't have a wolf to help him fight it.

I can't reach Kaila, probably because I had been drugged. And I was hoping that they wouldn't give me more so I would be able to reach her soon. Suddenly a lot of noise is going on and I hear the screaming of a man, and then it goes quiet, to quiet.

After several hours, I feel my mind is not as heavy as it was. And I slowly feel my mind wake up and I can feel Kaila, but not enough to reach here just yet And Noah is still

unconscious, and I am 93 nel

worried for him. I caress my

stomach when I feel a kick, and I am happy that my unborn son seems to be okay.

It has been three days since Rose and Noah were taken, and we did not have any leads. And she was to far away for me to reach her, but I can feel that she is still alive. But I am going crazy, not knowing if she is okay, and so is Rocky.

We have no idea what is happening, and no lead on who has taken them or why. We have suspicions, but it's all they are, and so far no proof.

Olivia has insisted I stay in the family house, saying she doesn't want me to be alone. And I know that she is just worried, so I have agreed, and I admit it's nice not being alone.

Right now I am eating breakfast in the kitchen with Liv and Logan, as I receive a message on my phone. don't know the number, and it makes me click right away, putting the phone on the table. There are no words in the message, but just a piêture of Rose and Noah,

She looks like she is sleeping, but Noah is heavily chained to the wall and obviously unconscious. Logan growls and instantly opens his phone calling someone and giving them the number. Afterward, we wait, and it doesn't take long before Logan puts down the phone.

"The number is untraceable..." He growls low. Before he gets up and leaves.

I stare at my phone and the picture. I feel worthless. I can't even save my mate.

"I need to find her," I say as I stare at the photo.

"We will, we will find them," Liv promised as I stared at the picture, and then I noticed it.

"Look," I say and scale up the picture.

There is a broken mirror all out on the side of the picture, but someone is standing so that you can just precisely see his face in a piece of not cracked mirror. I zoom

in and then I growl just as Logan gets back, Liv must have mindlinked him.

"This guy, I have seen him before. He was the last guy, the one that got away. The night I saved Rose. He is one of Alpha Carlos's packmembers." I tell them.

"That is proof, Alpha Carlos got to be the one who ordered this. Good catch, Enzo. Maybe this can help." Logan says.

I sit back, this is our first real proof.
