Alpha's Second Chance

I wake up in the morning, hoping today will go fast so that I can go home to Rose,

and all this crap will be over. After getting dressed I go meet Logan who is already ready and waiting, and we leave for the dining room.noveldrama

"Ready and calm?" He asks me.

"Yes, I am sorry for last night," I say and mean it.

"Don't be, you surprised him, even though you did what he expected, but he didn't expect you to be that fast," Logan says calmly.

We go downstairs and sit in our seats from last night, wishing everyone good morning. Breakfast was quiet, and when we were all done, Alpha Louis asked us to follow him to his office. We all sat down around the table where the doctor Jean Claude and Kyle and also Carlos's man was already here.

"I asked my doctor to work all night so that we can get this over with, as you know you both had a man there all night. So you can both be sure it was not being compromised in any way." Alpha Louis says, and we all nod our heads.

"I expect that no matter what the result is, this will be solved peacefully. And I will not tolerate any fighting or yelling over this. Understood?" He says and we all tell him it is Understood.

"Good, Jean Claude, give us the result." Alpha Louis asks. The doctor stands up to be sure everyone hears him.

"I was asked to provide the proof and result, of if Enzo are the biological father to Alpha Carlos's grandson. And after taking blood tests and also hair, I can conclude that the final result of both tests. Shows that there is less than a 10% chance that Enzo can be the father, so I can confirm that he is not the boy's father." Doctor Jean Claude, tell us.

I stayed calm, but inside I cheered happily, but I never had a doubt that I could be the father. But what he says next shocks me.

"I also made a second test based on hair from the boy, but also from Alpha Carlos." He says, and Carlos looks up, equally shocked.

"And the result shows that Alpha Carlos is not related to this boy." The doctor says. The room goes silent, but then it explodes.

"Who the Hell, are you to make a test on me? You have no right to do that." Then he turns to Mia.

"Stupid bitch, you told me that this would work. You found one of the women he had slept with. And you bring me that little worthless piece of shit. Consider yourself rejected, and you can find your own way back to Italy." Carlos sneers and stands up to leave.

"Find the worthless little shit. Dumb him somewhere. Not like his mother is alive to take him back."

"What!" Logan, Alpha Louis, Kyle, and I say at the same time. And Carlos smirks.

"I could not very well have the mother come running back to get him, could I?" He says and leaves.

"Where is the boy," Logan asks.

"He is safe, my men already made sure to remove him from the room he was kept in," Louis says and Logan nods his head and looks at Mia.

"Are you done trying to ruin our daughter's life?" He asks. And she nods her head and leaves the room.

"The boy, what are we going to do about him?" I Ask.

"I will make sure he is safe. He has had fun with the other kids here. So I will find him a good family." Alpha Louis says.

"Alpha." The doctor says, and we look at him.

"What is doctor?" Louis ask.

"The boy plays with my grandson. They get along very well. You know my family. And I would like to offer to take care of the boy. To give him a loving home." Jean Claude says.

"Very well, I will accept that. Thank you," Louis says. And the doctor leaves the room, and Alpha Louis looks at us.

"I guess this is it. I am sorry you had to go through this, but now you know it is over." The Alpha says

"For now, I fear he will never let me be in Pease. All because of a birthright I don't want." I say and sigh.

"We will find a way, Enzo. Sooner or later he will either give up. Or fail so badly it will cost him his life." Logan says, and I nod my head.

"King Logan is right. Alphas like him will get what they deserve." Alpha Louis says.

We get up and Logan Kyle and I,

group to get ready to leave, and Kyle

tells us the plane is ready and

waiting. can't wait to get home, miss my mate, and I hate I'm so far away especially when she iso pregnant.

I am in my room packing, and when I

get out, look at Logan and Kyle, who are both trying to call someone. Logan looks at me and says the words I least in this world want to hear right now. en

“There has been an attack. Or there still is. Luca managed to call, but the connection broke. And no one is answering." Logan says and I grab my phone darling Rose's number, but she doesn't answer either.

"Let's go now," Logan says, and we all leave to go to the plane, after a quick goodbye to Alpha Louis and his family.
