"I'll bring Phoenix to see my parents. If she's okay with it, we'll get married. This army is the wedding gift my family prepared for her." Justin smiled, his tone eager.

"Stop fantasizing! Renee won't go there with you," Xavier said. He found Justin's plan ridiculous." I don't believe you. Has Renee ever said yes? You keep saying you were going to do something big, but you might not even get anything out of it."

"It's not up to you whether she'll say yes or not." Justin was indifferent toward Xavier's mockery. He seemed to be very confident, his eyes cold. "I told you that because I wanted you to pass the message to Stefan. I'm not trying to take advantage of the situation, because I already gave him a chance to win her back."

"Then, I need to thank you on Stefan's behalf." Xavier didn't take Justin seriously at all, and instead waved provocatively at him. "We'll talk about that once you make Renee say yes. Bye!" Back in the guest room, Xavier held his phone, hesitating. In the end, he called Stefan.

"What's the matter?" Stefan barked, his tone cold and emotionless. Knowing that Xavier and Justin had saved Renee and the others, he was relieved. Hence, he didn't ask too much about that. He had done everything he could. When he got the news that Renee and the others were in danger, he contacted Xavier before Justin went for the rescue. He also held himself back from doing things he couldn't.

"Renee and the others are fine at the moment, but something happened. Mr. Osborne blocked the knife for Ms. Amber Jenkins. He nearly got killed, but is fine now. Everything's good," Xavier said, explaining to Stefan everything that happened that day again.

"That's good." Stefan remained cold, as if this concerned people unrelated to him.

His coldness upset Xavier. "Seriously, Stefan. No one else is around. Stop pretending! What's going on between you and Renee? She nearly got killed, but you didn't come to rescue her. Instead, you gave the chance to your rival in love. Do you want her to be with another man?"

"Justin seems more reliable in comparison to Jovan and Liam," Stefan said icily he made an excellent point about Justin.

"What?" For a moment, Xavier got so angry that he was dumbstruck. He rolled his eyes, like Leia usually did, and complained, "Oh, you're so generous! You're trying to pick a man for Renee. What's wrong with you? Will you even bear witness to their wedding day?"

"I'm fine with that if she needs that," Stefan replied calmly.

He could watch her gain happiness since he couldn't give her any.

"Fine, you're generous. You've got guts. You can't keep your wife, so you pick a guy for her. I've got to hand it to you." Xavier wanted to stop talking to Stefan for fear that he might scold the latter. "Listen-Justin is going to bring Renee to his parents. They'll get married if nothing goes wrong. I think... If you can't part with her, you should speak your mind!"
