The Rise of a Master: It Starts With Rejection

Chapter 933

A terrifying aura spread from a distant building, instantly enveloping the entire Skyward Guild. Terry and his followers were overjoyed, knowing their Founding Master had been monitoring the guild's safety even during meditation.

"How long has it been since someone dared to cause trouble in the Skyward Guild? Such audacity!" A powerful voice echoed across the grounds, brimming with authority.

Even without appearing in person, the sheer presence of this unseen force was overwhelming.

"Felix, you've brought this upon yourself!" Terry snarled through gritted teeth, his injuries making his anger even more palpable.

The other guild members began shouting, their earlier caution forgotten. "So what if you're a Dragon Knight? You struck first, and that gives us every right to retaliate. The headquarters won't say a word against us!"

Someone else growled, "Do you really think that being at the Boneforging Realm makes you invincible? Wait until you face our Founding Master!"

"Mr. Miles gave you so many chances, yet you chose death!"

Felix's response was a mocking laugh. "Oh, look at you all, barking louder when hiding behind someone stronger."

Suddenly, a flute's melody filled the air. It was gentle and soothing, bringing an inexplicable peace to everyone's minds. The overwhelming aura of the Founding Master vanished as abruptly as it had arrived. It was as though it had never been there.

A series of coughs broke the silence, followed by a begrudging voice. "Ah, Ms. Smith, I didn't realize you were here. This is just a minor dispute among the juniors. I'll return to my meditation now."noveldrama

Terry could not believe what he was hearing their Founding Master was backing down without a fight over a single flute melody. As the tune faded and the silence lingered, the realization sank in-he was not coming back.

The implications were glaringly obvious. The Founding Master had not even dared to intervene. That flute-the Silver Flute-was something every senior member of the Skyward Guild knew about, but none of them had expected their revered leader to be so intimidated by it.

"Well then, let's continue." Felix's voice snapped Terry back to reality.

Despite his injuries, he scrambled to his feet with a forced smile. "Dragon Knight, this is all a misunderstanding.

"We merely wanted to witness the skills of the Martial Arts Competition champion firsthand. There's nothing more to it, I assure you. I'll fetch the Twin Fish Cauldron right away."

Felix looked at them with contempt, knowing they would have clung to false hope until the very end. Besides, this was Skyward Guild, the top sect in Dragonia. Felix had learned from his encounter with the Polaris that walking in unprepared would be foolish, so of course, he came with a contingency plan- Karina.

With her on his side, Felix had no reason to hold back. Ever since the Martial Arts Competition ended, the restriction's placed on him by Gerald had been fully lifted, allowing him to freely contact any of his nine senior apprentices.

He would have already confronted the Greene family with their help if not for the urgent national crisis. Meanwhile, Stamford was nursing his severe injuries and wearing a bitter smile. From the start, he had been the only one against making an enemy of Felix. Yet here they were, facing the very disaster he had warned them about.

No one expected someone as young as Felix to reach Boneforging Realm, win the Martial Arts Competition, and gain Lone Paragon. Now, he had even called on the legendary Silver Flute So, how could they possibly compete with that?

Sighing deeply, Stamford silently prayed that Terry would finally learn his lesson. If not, this would not be the end of their troubles.
