Upon hearing my question, Eric laughed and said, "Of course. I'll tell them this good news now, then!"

I said, "Tell them to do what's within their job scope and not to take on additional tasks. Also, after deducting the operational costs, I plan to take a cut of the profit, which will be divided among everyone. That way, everyone's monthly pay will increase."

In the beginning, when I saw the large amount of income, I was excited. But over time, I gradually became more grounded.

After thinking that through, I was able to let go of a burden that I had been carrying. It was odd-even though I used to be a business owner, I never had thoughts like that. I wondered why I had a change of mind.

Perhaps it was because I gained these profits too easily. Being responsible for so much made other people's work seem less significant in comparison. I realized how dangerous such thoughts were, and I reminded myself to be more mindful of them.

Eric was stunned. He asked, "Are you sure you're okay with that?"

Without hesitation, I said, "Yeah. I'm earning a lot more than the average person. I should learn to be content."

Upon hearing that, Eric chuckled and said, "Okay."

"Of course, we'll categorize this extra pay as a bonus. What if they complain when the factory can't continue paying them so much money in the future?" I said, wanting to clear things up.

Eric replied, "I was so happy that I almost overlooked that."

"It's good that we're aware of it now," I commented. Feeling like I'd told Eric everything I needed to, I added, "You can carry on with your work, then." ,

After ending the call with Eric, I was hoping to relax a little. But to my surprise, the marketing team called.

The marketing manager said excitedly, "Our campaign turned out much better than expected!"

Upon hearing how happy she sounded, my mood became better as well. I asked, "What's up?"
