Jessica lounged on the couch as she considered Yelena's latest move. Her priority now was to get her comics animated and then eliminate Yelena.

Having sorted out her thoughts, Jessica called Steven. "Hello?"

Steven's voice was devoid of warmth. "What do you want?"

"Otis contacted you today, didn't he?" Jessica had read about this online.

"How did you find out?" Steven asked.

She drawled, "Lucky guess. Give me his number."

Steven had no idea what she was playing at, but that did not stop him from giving her Otis' number.

After getting Otis' number, Jessica called him. "Hello?"

Otis stared at the unknown number. "Who is this?"

"I'm Steven's girlfriend," Jessica replied. Name-dropping Steven every once in a while tended to work in her favor.

Frowning, Otis asked, "You're the woman who stole my daughter's husband?"

Jessica laughed. "Oh, you don't need to act like you care about Annalise when you're with me, Mr. Jamison. I wouldn't call you if I weren't sure you hated Annalise as much as I did. I think we're on the side. Don't let me down now."

Otis remained silent.

Jessica suggested boldly, "I think we'd make a great team."

Otis scoffed at this. "I have money and a business to run, but do you? What made

you think you could be on equal standing with me?"

For her sake, he refrained from asking Jessica to look in the mirror before marketing herself as a valuable teammate for him.

Jessica ignored his contemptuous snort and said, "I think it's because I can help you in the ways you need, Mr. Jamison, such as with your plan to have your youngest daughter seduce Zane. Thanks to my previous romantic pursuit of him, I know the kind of woman Zane is into.

"If you agree to team up with me, I could provide you with valuable information that will help your

youngest daughter in her qnet

That said, if you don't see the upside

to teaming up with me, I won't force you."

Jessica had a knack for manipulating folks like Otis. "Even if you refuse to team up with me, there are others who would jump at the chance. Think about it."

When the call ended, Otis found himself in a dilemma as he sat in his room. Of, course, he wanted Yelena to seduce Zane.

As long as Annalise and Zane were together, she wouldn't help Otis and would take him down at the first chance, Even if Otis were to make peace with her, she might only be civil with him on paper and secretly plotting her revenge against him.

As such, calling a truce with Annalise would be a last resort on Otis' part.

He paced around the room as he considered his options.

For all her incompetence and questionable character, Yelena was gullible enough

to be manipulated. More importantly, if she could win Zane over, she might just be able to put in a good word for Otis to the former.

In other words, Yelena could be the bridge between Otis and Zane, which would

in turn, do wonders for Otis' business.

Otis grinned. If Zane sided with him and helped him take down Annalise, payback would be child's play.
