The Great Medical Saint

Chapter 289

"Matthew insulted the Clark family's daughter. They definitely won't let this go," Rachel said, Sara's voice still echoing in her mind.

Suddenly, there was a loud bang, and the door rattled, followed by an angry shout from outside.

"Come out! I saw someone open the door just now! Open up! If you don't, I'll break it down!"

Rachel went pale with worry and turned to Tracy, asking, "What should we do?"

Tracy put a finger to her lips, signaling for Rachel to stay silent. The latter nodded, covering her mouth with her hand and anxiously watching the door.

The sound of someone kicking the door grew louder with each strike.

The desk Tracy had pushed against the door was shoved aside, and a gap began to appear in the door. Andrew saw Rachel inside and roared, "Rachel! Open this door right now! You Carters have some nerve, bullying my sister." It was the first time Rachel had faced such a situation.

She tried to stay calm and said, "Mr. Clark, I'm very sorry about what happened. I didn't want this either. Ms. Clark knows I've always treated her with the utmost respect. Can we resolve this calmly?"

"Calmly? That's a joke!" Andrew shouted, his voice brimming with anger. "The Carters must be out of their minds! A mere chauffeur dared to mess with my sister? What are you trying to pull?" With a sharp crack, the door broke apart, sending pieces of wood scattering across the room.

Rachel stumbled back in fear, fully realizing the gravity of the situation. She knew she needed to admit fault first to calm things down before seeking a solution.

She said, "Mr. Clark, I'm aware that our company is also responsible for what that pervert did to Ms. Clark, since he's one of our employees..."

Andrew stepped over the broken door and into the room, his voice rising with fury. "What did you just say?" he demanded. "That chauffeur did something so vile to Sara?"

He'd known that Sara was crying because she'd been bullied, but he hadn't realized it was due to something vile Matthew had done to her.

He hadn't expected that Sara, whom his family held so dear, had been mistreated by Matthew.

His eyes burned with fury, and he was on the verge of losing control.

When Sara heard this, she sensed something was wrong. It seemed like he had misunderstood the situation. "Andrew, it's not like that..."

Andrew's eyes were red with anger. "Don't be afraid, Sara. Just tell me what exactly he did to you."

"I... I was..." She thought of what to say, but she couldn't bring herself to admit that she'd been spanked. As a woman, it felt too shameful to talk about.

Seeing her hesitation, Andrew

immediately understood. It was too embarrassing for her to admit, yet he had still asked her. No wonder she seemed to walk strangely, as if her backside were injured.

Now it all made sense to him.

Andrew said, his voice trembling with anger, "Just wait here, Sara. I'll make sure the Carters pay for this and get revenge for you."

Rachel's heart raced as her fear intensified while listening to what Andrew said.

At this critical moment, Malcolm's bodyguards were nowhere to be seen, as if the rug had been pulled out from under her.

On top of that, Louis had already beaten up the company's security guards, who were now either injured or incapacitated.

She felt utterly helpless, and she didn't know how to handle the situation.noveldrama

In this critical moment, Matthew's face flashed in her mind again, and she silently cursed her own weakness.

Just then, a familiar voice echoed

from outside. "All I did was pound your sister, and you want to destroy the Carters over that?" he questioned. "Aren't you

overreacting?"

Matthew had heard Andrew's voice as soon as he arrived. He had only spanked Sara, yet Andrew wanted to destroy the Carters over it. That was really going too far!
