The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage

Frank raised his hand to catch the rock and glanced at Walt.

While Walt hid in terror, Frank could tell that he was trying to escalate the conflict while he sat back and reaped the spoils.

However, Frank had already planned to make a mess of things in the first place and was confident he had everything in the back.

As such, he pretended as if he fell for Walt's attempt at provocation and dropped the rock in front of Ocean as he growled, "What is the meaning of this?"

Ocean frowned but reasoned, "Please calm down, Mr. Frankton. This might have been an accident-I'll find the culprit right away."

Frank shook his head. "Save it. I'll find him myself!"

Even if he did not want anyone in his family to die by Frank's hand, Frank did charge into their house in the first place. That was not all either he was now demanding free rein to search inside, and no matter how naive Ocean could be, he still had to defend his family's honor!

Frank raised a brow at him. "What, are you going to fight me?"

"If you insist on disrespecting us, we have no choice." Ocean nodded despite his exasperation.

Frank smirked, and seized him by the throat, flinging him into the distance!

Seeing that, the rest of the Costners resolved themselves to die and charged at Frank.

Meanwhile, Walt from a distance as the standoff escalated into a brawl.

He was convinced that even if Frank was that amazing, he still needed time to fend off the Costners.

In the meantime, Walt could kill Derek and hide. Then, once Frank was done with the other Costners and entered Derek's bedroom, he would appear and catch him red-handed!

When that happens, Walt would naturally be found innocent, while he incited the rest of the Costners into standing with him against a common foe!

With that in mind, he sneaked into Derek's bedroom, whipping out a dagger. Before he could do it, someone coughed.

Surprised, Walt turned to find that Frank and Ocean were already in the room.

And outside the window, the Costners were all beaten and laying around on the floor, groaning in pain!

H-How was this possible?!

Frank's strength was beyond doubt, or Walt would really have pinned his hopes on his family to defeat him. He just did not expect Frank to be so strong that he could take down everyone in less than a minute!

Still, Walt was quick on his feet, and quickly snapped, "Lugh Frankton! How dare you barge into my grandnephew's bedroom! I'll kill you!"

He was clearly pretending as if he noticed Frank sneaking into this room and was attacking him.

However, Ocean moved up to subdue Walt for Frank since Frank did not hurt him at all earlier, and Walt did not stand a chance against the younger man.

Still, Walt yelled, "What are you doing, Ocean?! Lugh Frankton is clearly tricking you! Don't fall for it!"

"Are you kidding me, Granduncle?"

Ocean chuckled coolly. "Even an idiot could tell what you're up to, or you still think you could fool us? You know that you'd have the family's support if you wanted to branch out, but you'd actually decide that it's better to kill the head of the family and replace him?!"

Seeing that Ocean was doubting him, Walt gave up on his ruse entirely, "Then think about it, Ocean! Am I at fault here?! We used to live like kings here in Shagan, but Derek would rather reduce us to the likes of money-hoarding gremlins, with no intention of restoring our former glory!"

Ocean laughed coolly. "The times have changed, Granduncle! Look at Mr. Frankton, and then all the other people he left on the floor outside. Do you think Mr. Frankton would really lose to your cheap tricks?

"Give up already! The gap between

us is simply insurmountable. We might stand a chance if we stay on our best behavior and diligently make money, but we'd be crushed if we mess around! It's Mr. Frankton that made me understand that, or our family would've been destroyed because of your foolishness!"

Unable to persuade Ocean, Walt had no choice but to play his trump card. "You

have no right to punish me! Only the head of the family does!"
