The others certainly saw that Bruce was not actually being unreasonable, and Frank would have no reason to get upset even if word of this reached him.

Moreover, Bruce more or less were friends with them, and having him lead was better than Jada. As such, they were all too happy to adjudicate the showdown between them.

Bruce even smirked. "Ms. Turin, if you believe that they might be biased, I don't mind you bringing your own people as spectators-I'll wait."

"So what if you're cheating?" Jada snapped in annoyance. "You won't beat me even if you were!"

Bruce stopped talking right then and got into position.

"Go!"

At the judge's call, both Jada and Bruce streaked forward, covering dozens of feet in the blink of an eye!

The spectators were all shocked.

They had naturally heard of Bruce's accomplishments and knew that he was among the best BM Group had to offer in speed and strength, so what was with Jada pulling forward so soon?!

They were level for a while, but Jada was now two feet up front. Bruce could not catch up no matter how hard he tried either, and Jada even turned to laugh at him.

Even if Jada had the power of the spiritron vein, Frank was actually the man chosen by the spiritron vein. She should not be that much stronger than Sally York's goons!

They were simply unaware that Jada had trained in martial arts as well. And with the power of the spiritron vein on top of that, she was naturally special.

Hence, there was nothing Bruce could do even though he was furious, when he suddenly felt that his legs were much lighter, and as he kept running hard, he was suddenly catching up to Jada.

Both Jada and the spectators were shocked-what the hell?!

Unbeknownst to them, someone in the crowd did not want Bruce to lose and therefore offered a helping hand.

It was unfair, but victory mattered more here. Bruce simply played along with it as well, reaching just in front of the finish line and flashing a victory sign at Jada.

Frustrated, Jada dashed as fast as she could, but no one was cheering her now.

And seeing that she was so far behind himself while the finish line was not far away, Bruce did the one thing he must not-celebrate prematurely!

Raising both hands, he waved at the members of BM Group, as if to say it was going to be a beautiful day tomorrow.

And yet, before he actually crossed the finish line, a miracle happened.

Whoosh.

A figure streaked past Bruce just then, and it was too late when he realized what had just happened-Jada had beat him to the finish line!

Stopping right then, he stared at Jada in disbelief. "H-How is that possible?!"

The others were equally

shocked Jada was strong, but the look on her face made it clear she was at her limit. So where on earth did she get that second wind?!

"Why would it be impossible? If you are allowed to cheat, why isn't she allowed to do the same?" a familiar voice asked just then.noveldrama

Everyone's shock disappeared without a trace-who else could achieve such an effect, aside from Frank?

Luckily for Jada, he had nothing to do for the day and thought he could come to check things out.

While he was planning not to interfere, he did not expect to catch someone cheating either, which was why he offered Jada help.

Nonetheless, while they were speechless for a while, the crowd soon offered a local salute, greeting him, "Good afternoon, Mr. Frankton!"

Frank glanced at them, not rejecting the salute.

BM Group consisted mostly of foreigners who were unfamiliar with local tradition. Hence, he would not correct them as the sincerity alone was enough.

Striding up to Bruce, he demanded bluntly, "The others might not see it, but you

probably sensed that someone was helping you cheat, no?"
