"Poor Dawn. She's just so unlucky!" Jada sighed.

It was something that only Dawn could do—she really could not help despite wanting to.

Jouri shrugged and turned back to Frank. "How did the meeting go?"

"Callie Wright agreed to my demands," Frank replied.

"Callie Wright?" Jouri frowned. "Wait, are you suggesting she's the real Mary?"

Seeing Jouri's delight, Moxxi was overjoyed and leapt up to hug her without a care. "You really are a woman after my own heart! You're the first person I've seen who is shocked about Callie's true identity!"

Jouri shoved her away in disdain. "Fine, whatever. At least Mr. Frankton has achieved his goal, though you should watch out since BM Group's lackeys can be hard to tame."

"Don't worry, ma'am," Moxxi assured her, clapping her chest. "I'm confident I can get them to fall in line."

"You?!" Jouri raised a brow.

Moxxi was not offended, even sitting beside her. "I've studied and have real-life experience in management. Everyone working for me serves loyally, so don't underestimate me or your jaw would drop."

"I'll be waiting." Jouri smirked and left.

Soon, Jada brought in Dawn, and they had her go through the list of Skai Veeka after ensuring that she was healthy.

However, they ended up working for an entire day but not getting anything. Like Monte Petale, the Skai Veeka whom Dawn remembered seemed to have disappeared entirely.

Even Dawn could not help feeling disappointed despite her confidence and pouted. "Ms. Turin... Does this mean I won't ever remember who I am?"

Jada quickly shook her head and assured her, "It's alright. We have all the time we need."

Sue Fisher had been idling, so she helped Dawn look through the files as well.

"That's right," Sue told Jada as well. "You've been waiting all this while, so you can definitely hold out a little longer. Be confident-don't lose to yourself."

Dawn sighed in relief thanks to their assurance, just as someone entered.

Seeing that it was Callie, Jada teased, "Long time no see, Ms. Mary!"

Callie rolled her eyes. "Shove it. That title is as childish as it is embarrassing—it's too much for me! Anyway, where's Mr. Frankton?"noveldrama

"He's away, saying he needs to talk to Sally York. Just sit tight—he'll be back soon."

Callie shook her head. "I'll pass. Just

relay a message, saying that I'm

done with internal investigations. Ask him he wants to inspect them again in international waters or here in Shagan-I'm fine either way."

"Sure. I'll make sure to tell him."

Frank returned soon after Callie returned, and Jada asked in concern, "How did the investigation go, Mr. Frankton?"

He had listened to Jouri's

suggestion to look abroad for Monte Petale and Skai Veeka. Since Jouri had no clearance on foreign affairs, he was turning to Sally, asking her to hackinto foreign databases to find those two.

"She said she can do it, but she'd need time," Frank sighed and concluded. "So how are things going on here?"

"We've got nothing. Dawn looked through everything—no hits."

Frank shrugged. "That's fine-we're counting on finding them abroad anyway. And since their names

would be unusual in foreign soil, it's really much easier there tha@here."

Dawn nodded but asked, "That said, what if they registered their names in foreign languages? Maybe don't trouble that woman, or we'd get into trouble!"

Hacking into an enemy's database was no small feat, and while Dawn really wanted her memories back, she did not want to add to Frank's troubles either.
