The CEO's Mischievous Little Bride

Chapter 658 There's just one thing I haven't done yet.

Before long, Sebastian was also sitting in Patrick's car. Watching their loving interaction, he smiled and said, "When will Molly and I have kids?"

Patrick replied, "It's all about fate. I didn't even know when my son was coming. It wasn't until Vera and Noah had a fight and she had stomach pains that we found out."

"I think Dennis's matter can be completely resolved this time," Sebastian said.

Patrick responded, "With Jeffrey gone, the only person who would protect him with their life is no longer around. He knows he can't escape this time. He approached Dad just to find out where Aleah is."

In prison, Dennis and Shawn sat quietly for a few minutes, neither speaking.

Old men often love to reminisce about the past. From meeting in school, starting from the same point, to now, one living a happy life and the other in prison.

"Jeffrey is dead."

"My son told me."

Dennis asked, "Why?"

Shawn's eyes were firm, his sharp gaze filled with anger as he said, "He deserved it! Loyalty is a good thing, but if you follow the wrong person, loyalty becomes a tool for doing bad things."

Dennis said, "He did nothing wrong, he was just following my orders."

"Then was Emily wrong? Was our Olteran family wrong? What did my deceased wife and my daughter, who was lost for over a decade, owe you? What you did wasn't just wrong, it was a crime!"

Shawn's fist tightened under the table.

"People are really strange sometimes," Dennis sighed.

Dennis valued his son, wanting the Turner family to have a male heir, but in the end, he lost everything.

Shawn loved his daughter, and always wanted to have a girl, but his second child was also a son, which frustrated him for a long time.

In the end, Shawn had both a son and a daughter, while Dennis ended up alone.

Shawn always believed that Vincent and Patrick were the best. One would go into politics, the other into business, each achieving success in their respective fields. Shawn, however, just hoped that Molly, Vera, and Randall would live healthy, peaceful lives without any disasters.

But in the end, Vincent became a powerful figure in politics, and Patrick dominated the business world. Fate had its plans.

"Where is Aleah?"

Shawn replied, "You only need to know that she's alive. No one should know her whereabouts." When it came to the previous generation, Shawn always had a lot to consider.

Dennis laughed, "If it were me, I might have killed her. Your family is too soft-hearted. Aren't you afraid she'll seek revenge for her father in the future?"

Shawn said, "Revenge? What revenge?"

Dennis suddenly fell silent. What did the Olteran family owe him?

Visiting hours were over. Shawn stood up with his cane, "I need to go home and take care of the kids. That's it."

"I want to see her."

Shawn replied, "Impossible."

Walking out, Shawn returned to the car, his stern expression immediately disappearing. He smiled broadly and clapped his hands at Theodore, "Theodore, let me hold you." Theodore was comfortably nestled in Patrick's arms and didn't want to leave.

Shawn still took Theodore, "Such a good boy."

"Dad, what were you talking about?"

"Just some random things, nothing important. If I had known, I wouldn't have come to see him and wasted time I could have spent with you, right, Theodore?"

Theodore looked at Patrick, who was driving.

As expected, Dennis was sentenced, just as Sebastian had said, to the death penalty. He confessed to the kidnapping of Molly years ago. Investigations revealed that he had attempted to kill and dispose of her body in the sea, but Molly was later rescued by the Chase family.

Sebastian sat in the back of the courtroom, dressed in plain clothes, listening to the entire trial.

Later, because Sebastian led his team to solve another major case, the city held a special commendation ceremony to award him a certificate and a medal.

Sebastian finally had some time to rest.

That day, after a dinner gathering, Sebastian hurried home as night fell. But no one was home. A servant came out and said, "Mr. Chase, they all went back to the old house." "Where's Molly?"

"Mrs. Chase is in the bedroom."

Sebastian nodded and went upstairs with the awards his team had given him.

Opening the door, he heard Molly complaining from under the covers, "Sebastian hasn't been home for days. I didn't know I could be alone for so long."

"Vera, don't envy me. If Sebastian doesn't come home tonight, it'll just be me and the servants. I'll be scared."

Sebastian walked in, "I'm back."

"Hmm?" Molly knelt on the bed, crawling to the foot of the bed to look at Sebastian as he entered. "Vera, I have to go. Sebastian is back."

She hung up the phone immediately and ran towards Sebastian, "Sebastian, don't work overtime tonight, okay? Our parents and grandparents aren't home. Stay with me."

Sebastian raised an eyebrow. For the first time, Molly was asking him to stay. "Okay, why did our parents go back?"

"The neighbors called Grandpa and Grandma saying there was a break-in at the old house. Our parents drove them back."

"Why didn't you go?" Sebastian asked.

Molly replied, "If I went, there would be no one waiting for you when you got home from work."

Sebastian smiled and hugged Molly, "What have you been doing at home these days?" "Nothing much. I found out that marriage isn't as great as I thought. I'd rather be at school. What about you, Sebastian? What have you been busy with lately?" Sebastian ruffled Molly's hair and said cryptically, "You just haven't experienced the good parts of marriage yet."

Looking at Molly, Sebastian suddenly remembered the last time she clung to him and kissed him out of the blue. His Adam's apple bobbed as he lifted Molly's chin and kissed her.

"I need to take a shower first," Sebastian said, letting go of Molly. "I've been working overtime for days, and I smell."

"No, you don't."

Sebastian smiled and went into the bathroom.

After his shower, Sebastian changed into his pajamas and got into bed.noveldrama

Molly moved to the side, avoiding him. She looked down, her eyes darting around, not daring to speak.

Sebastian frowned. The last few times they had slept together, she had adapted naturally. She had also kissed him naturally earlier. Why was she so reserved this time? Was it because he had been away for a few days, and she felt distant again?

Lying in bed, Molly sneakily glanced at a certain spot, feeling guilty as she turned her back to Sebastian.

"Molly, there's just one thing I haven't done yet."

Molly turned around curiously, "What is it?"

Sebastian leaned against the headboard, looking down at her, "Become a real couple with you."

Molly's face immediately turned red.

Sebastian moved closer, his hand resting on her waist, his deep gaze fixed on her.
