"Bryan? Alice? What brings you here?" Scarlett asked.

Bryan was well aware that Michael's mother was not an easy person to deal with.

He also knew that behind her smile, there might be a hidden dagger.

"Mrs. Smith, hello. We apologize for disturbing you so late, but we mainly wanted to have a word with Mr. Smith," Bryan replied.

Seeing Mason being carried out on a stretcher, Bryan frowned and instinctively glanced at Scarlett, noticing her guilty and evasive look.

He seemed to understand something and quickly approached Benjamin, asking. "Benjamin, what's going on?"

Seeing Bryan, Benjamin was momentarily stunned, then quickly stepped forward to explain the situation.

"Mr. Watson, I don't know what happened. Mr. Smith got up in the middle of the night

to use the bathroom and then started vomiting uncontrollably and fainted. It really scared us. We're taking him to the hospital now!"

Bryan looked at Mason on the stretcher, seeing that he was completely pale, and then noticed Michael was nowhere to be seen.

"Where's Michael? Why isn't he here?"

Benjamin quickly responded. "Ms. Smith ran away from home, and Mr. Michael Smith and Mrs. Emily Smith went to Everglade City to find her. They haven't returned for days!

"But I've already called them. Mr. Michael Smith and Mrs. Emily Smith are on their way back. Mr. Watson, the Smith family doesn't have anyone to make decisions right now, so please bear with us!"

Benjamin's words made Scarlett unhappy.

Her face turned sour, and she approached Benjamin, saying. "Alright, go take care of Mr. Mason Smith. Why so much talking?"

After speaking, Scarlett looked at Bryan, a smile forming on her lips. "Bryan, are you looking for Michael? Why don't we go inside and talk? I'm here. I can always pass on a message."

Scarlett tried to pull Alice into the living room.

Seeing this, Bryan quickly pulled Alice back and said. "No need to trouble you, Mrs. Scarlett Smith. Alice and I just came to talk to Mr. Mason Smith. Since Mr. Mason Smith is in trouble, as Michael's friends, we should go to the hospital to look after him."

Alice quickly broke free from Scarlett's grip, awkwardly said goodbye, and left the Smith Mansion with Bryan, driving away quickly.
