She spun around in panic, only to see that Allison had already slipped into the elevator during the brief pause between the lasers’ shots.

Allison’s voice was sharp and unyielding as she gave the order. “Grab her.”

“And who do you think you are to have the right to touch me? You’re out of your mind!” Lena began to argue. But before she could say more, the men in black wrestled her to the floor.

Everyone instinctively pressed themselves against the elevator walls. Lena’s face turned ghostly white, her fear evident.
