Rewriting My Heart's Fate

Chapter 472

The spacious, well-lit lobby had a sleek, modern design that exuded understated luxury.

When the staff saw Rowan, they bowed respectfully in greeting. Clearly, he held a very important position here.

"This way, please. I'll take you to the CEO's office," the young secretary smiled as she led us to the elevator.

We pushed open the heavy mahogany doors on the top floor, revealing an office that radiated luxury in every corner-a glass dome ceiling, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a massive abstract painting.

Rowan gestured for me to sit on the leather couch and then asked the secretary to prepare coffee. "Ms. Wiley, welcome to my humble office. I hope our partnership will help Evelyn Studio soar in Erudia, taking it to the next level."

I raised my glass in a toast. "With your help, I feel so fortunate. I just hope Evelyn Studio can live up to expectations and shine in the fashion capital of Melando."

Rowan smiled with genuine pleasure. "Sounds like you're planning to make Melando your base for the long term?"

I nodded. "I plan to establish a strong presence here, making Melando Evelyn Studio's second global headquarters."

"Of course, if all goes well, this could even become our main hub."

Rowan's eyes sparkled with approval. "Good! Ambitious! Just as I'd expect from you, Ms. Wiley. I'm sure with your skills, you'll make waves in the industry!" Hearing his praise, I felt a swell of pride. What was there to worry about now when a company as influential as Rovera Group was backing me?

Out of courtesy, I suggested a tour of Rovera Group's office space.

Rowan agreed readily and personally accompanied me as we walked through the departments.

From design to planning, from marketing to public relations, every corner was impeccably organized, with employees working efficiently and with focus.

"Your focus on talent is impressive, Mr. Ellard," I commented.

"Not at all," Rowan said humbly. "Talent is the most valuable asset a company can have. I just do my part to give them a platform to thrive."

"Evelyn Studio is still small, nowhere near the size of Rovera Group's operation, with only a handful of employees," I admitted. "That's why I'd like to ask for your advice on how to expand quickly in a foreign country and build a strong team." "That's simple," Rowan said confidently. "First, funding is key. With solid capital, you can recruit top talent and scale up.

"Next, it's about navigating the legal

and regulatory landscape. When opening in another country, you have to follow local laws and secure the necessary business licenses, which requires a lot of lobbying and public relations.

"Then, it's all about localization. You need to respect local customs, hire

local employees, and make sure

business feels connected to community.

"As for team management," he said, smiling knowingly, "that's your area of expertise."noveldrama

I made a mental note of his advice, feeling grateful.

"I really appreciate your insights, Mr. Ellard. I'll keep them in mind and put them into practice."

I spent a rewarding and enriching day at Rovera Group's office.

If it weren't for my failed relationship

with Ethan, I thought maybe there was a chance something could spark between us. But that was a thought I quickly pushed aside.

As we headed back to the hotel near dusk, Rowan suddenly asked, "By the way, Ms. Wiley, do you have any plans for tonight?"

I was caught off guard and shook my head. "No, why?"

Rowan smiled mysteriously. "Well, there's a private dinner in Melando tonight, hosted by Rovera Group. I'd like to invite you to join us."

"A dinner?" I hesitated. "Would that be appropriate? We're just business partners, and this kind of personal gathering..."

"Don't worry," Rowan said, "this isn't anything inappropriate. The guest of honor is my dear friend, Stefano Fernandez, the famous fashion designer." I gasped.

Stefano! That name was like a legend in the fashion world!

He was the man who had brought Valleria fashion to the global stage, the designer who was adored by countless celebrities.

Meeting him was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
