"Achoo-!" Sophie, miles away overseas, couldn't help but sneeze. Colby glanced over, frowning slightly as he tucked the blanket around her more securely.

"Are you coming down with something?"

"Nah, it's probably Fiona. She's got to be cursing me right now," Sophie chuckled, a hint of exasperation in her voice. They had left Fiona in Alec's care, and those two were notorious for causing chaos when left to their own devices.

Their car eased into a dimly lit alley, and both Sophie and Colby stepped out. The alley was bustling with black market stalls, and the air was thick with tension and danger as they made their way through.

School was out, and the Rolls-Royce parked at the gate was hard to miss. Fiona and Alec climbed in, one after the other, settling into a comfortable silence. School was their normal life facade, a routine they had to fit into and hide behind. But once inside the car and heading home, things changed. Their lives were far from ordinary.

The gates of the Costello estate were wide open as their car rolled up. Fiona and Alec stepped out on either side, glancing at the grand entrance before them, their wrists flicking in unison.

"Welcome home, Miss, Mr. Alec," Tricia greeted them with her usual polite smile. Fiona and Alec showed no emotion, heading straight into the estate.

In a flash, two synchronized knives came flying at them. Fiona dodged first, her face calm and collected.

"Miss has gotten even better," the hidden members of the Costello Group whispered among themselves.

"Her skills come from the master himself, of course she's amazing!"

"Think we should show a bit of our own prowess?"

"Sounds like a plan!"

By the time Fiona and Alec reached the courtyard, the estate gates had closed behind them. Masked figures in black, previously hidden, began to emerge, and the air was suddenly charged with a dangerous energy.

Fiona and Alec worked together seamlessly, and Alec couldn't help but notice Fiona's increased skill-she moved with a speed that was nearly impossible to follow.

"Damn! I've been hit!" one of the Costello Group members shouted, looking down

at a red smoke pellet staining his chest and half his clothes.

"Who the hell tagged me?" another exclaimed, having been shot squarely in the head.
