The next moment, Cedric flicked her forehead with his finger and frowned. "Didn't I tell you not to drink at the bar? You really don't learn, do you?"

He couldn't imagine what Noelle would have gone through if he hadn't been there last night. She recalled the events of last night and couldn't help but feel a lingering sense of dread.

Her eyes turned cold. "Xenia is hanging out with the heirs and heiresses from Yasnia's elite families. I didn't expect them to be so outrageous."

She had been too careless.

"It's not easy. They are from Yole University's business school. Their family background is not something ordinary people can take on."

"Cedric, I know you want to avenge me, but I already have a plan." Noelle looked up at him solemnly. "I'm lucky it was you I met last night."

"Ced, I need to talk to you. It's about Samantha." Laura stood at the door, nervously glancing into the room, but Cedric stepped aside to block her view.
