My Aloof Sisters Asked for My Forgiveness

Chapter 581

"Excuse me, sir, how may I assist you?" the waiter asked with a polite smile.noveldrama

"Cut the chatter. Just go call them. It's nothing bad." Dustin dismissed him with a

wave.

The waiter's smile froze momentarily.

"Please wait here." He turned and walked away.

The group exchanged puzzled glances, as they were unsure of Dustin's

intentions.

"Dustin, what are you up to?" Keller frowned as he asked.

"Didn't you all look down on me, saying that I couldn't even afford one night in this

hotel?" Dustin smirked. "Let me prove otherwise."

The group froze for a second.

Ellen's face twisted.

She had only meant to mock Dustin for being poor.

Who could afford to splurge on a night here out of spite?

"I didn't mean..." she began, but Franklin raised his hand and cut her off.

"Let's see how he plans to prove it," he said, as he was clearly intrigued.

He did not think Dustin would make a scene for no reason.

But how exactly did he plan to demonstrate his financial capacity?

Was he going to get a room here for the night?

"Dustin, calm down..." Monique said worriedly to Dustin.

She was afraid that Dustin would blow his money just to prove a point.

"Monique, don't worry. I know what I'm doing." Dustin smiled faintly.

She sighed but chose not to say anything more.

Before long, a man who appeared to be the hotel manager approached them.

"Sir, how may I assist you?" the manager said to Dustin politely.

"This hotel seems nice," Dustin said nonchalantly.

"Thank you, sir. This establishment was built three years ago with significant investment. We pride ourselves on being a step above other hotels in Rivenesco, both in facilities and service. Our reputation has always been stellar," the manager said with a smile.

Dustin nodded.

"How much does this hotel cost? I'd like to buy it," Dustin said.

The manager's smile froze.

Everyone at the table froze in disbelief.

No one expected Dustin to say that.

Even Franklin's expression stiffened.

Dustin wanted to buy a five-star hotel?

Who even said things like that so casually?

"You must be joking, sir," the manager said with a professional laugh.

"I'm not joking. I want to buy this hotel, and I can pay right now," Dustin said seriously.

The manager was rendered momentarily speechless, and his expression turned to one of astonishment.

"Dustin, stop fooling around," Simone said with an awkward cough and tugged at his sleeve.

She knew Dustin was not poor, but he did not need to prove himself like that.

A five-star hotel was not something one casually purchased.

A five-star hotel would cost nearly few hundred million to build. She could not help but think that Dustin wasjust putting on a show to impress them.

"This isn't funny, Dustin. Stop it," Monique said pleadingly.

She feared that things would go out of control.

a

"Are you being serious right now?" Franklin asked as his expression darkened. "Do you even realize what buying a five-star hotel entails? Do you have any idea how much that would cost?" en

It was clear that he thought Dustin was bluffing.

If Dustin had aimed lower, they might have believed in whatever lie he spun but buying the hotel was absurd.

"You? Buying this hotel? With what money? Can you even hear yourself? Stop embarrassing us in public."

She glanced around and noticed the curious stares from nearby diners. She felt a surge of humiliation.

"This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard!" she exclaimed, with her face twisted in mockery.

"Even billionaires wouldn't casually declare they're buying a five-star hotel. What makes you think you can pull this off?

"If you're so confident, go ahead, show us the money! Can you even come up with that much?" Ellen crossed her arms and sneered in disdain as if she was watching a clown.
