Lord Barbenheim was worried that the Blood God Messenger might refuse his request, so he deliberately laid out his case in such detail.

His fear and dread of Dustin had seeped into his very bones, which left him desperate for the Divine Hall to act and eliminate the threat.

Yet, the Blood God Messenger remained silent.

The unsettling silence left Lord Barbenheim feeling uneasy and uncertain of the Divine Hall's intentions.

At last, the Blood God Messenger spoke.

"No need to investigate. Ruben is at Dustin's mercy, and your son, Robert, is dead."

Lord Barbenheim turned pale.

Lord Barbenheim was so shocked he nearly leaped out of his wheelchair.
