Chapter 68: Bathroom Affair
Glen's POV
"Shit what the fuck is happening to me?" I mumble in panic as I look at myself at the mirror.
I was touching my face to see if this is a fucked-up dream but I sigh in defeat when I realize it was not.
I keep groaning at the mirror while protesting.
I was in the bathroom talking to myself since I suddenly felt weird and my heartbeat is beating faster
than the usual.
"Did this happen because I—don't tell me that this happen because I saw Tobios having those bruises
kind of—HELL NO" I shouted at the mirror as I try to calm myself.
"Am I having a crush with him?" I ranted while I pace around the bathroom and I was thankful that no
one was inside or else I might be screaming silently inside the cubicle sitting on the bowl like in the
drama and I don't want that.
"Damn—" I cursed in disbelief as I then stare back at myself and I saw that my face looks hideous.
"What am I even thinking about? Maybe I'm just not feeling well today or if not, I'm just starting to feel
sick—I guess?" I ranted while I just open the faucet and rinse my face with the cold water over and
over again hoping that it would calm myself.
I then let the water flow on my face as I feel the coldness of the water runs through my face and I was
surprised that it worked making me sigh as my heartbeat turns back to normal.
"That really feels good" I mumble as I wipe my face with a handkerchief which is on my pocket.
I then look at my face and then stare at it with a blank expression.
Suddenly a memory appeared in my mind making me get surprised before I then look away from the
mirror as I then turn off the faucet.
"I might just be not feeling well" I mumble sadly as I then shake my head and forget about the memory.
"I better head back or else Sir might get mad if I will be out for a long time" I decided while I look at
myself for the last moment and change my expression to a happy one.
I sigh in frustration before I give myself a happy smile.
I then nod my head before I went to head back to class but something unexpected happened. As I
open the door I was immediately meet face to face with Tobios and just like a while ago my heart beats
faster as I stare at his face and he was looking down at me since he was taller for a few inches than
me.
"Uhm—sorry" I stutter as I then bow my head as I then try to walk away and pass him.
(Calm down you idiot what is suddenly getting into your head now) I scolded myself since I am not
dumb enough not to know what I feel right now.
(I guess that I can't deny that I might—I said that I might... have a crush on him and I don't want to try
and fool myself since I already know the answer but this guy is out of my league. Just look at him Glen)
I thought in disbelief as I try to walk away since I don't want to talk to him and this is the only reaction I
could think.
But when I was about to walk away completely someone suddenly grab my arm and I immediately stop
and got surprise and my heart is not even helping since it suddenly beats even faster than it was
already.
(Shit why is this guy grabbing my arm? Does he want something or did I do something wrong?) I
thought while trying to figure out what why is he grabbing my arm.
"Wait" he said and I got nervous even more.
I didn't turn around and I just wait what will he do next as I just stand still on my ground.
"Hey, did I do something?" he said making me immediately got confused making me turn around and
look at him.
I then saw him looking at me worriedly making me feel even more confused.
"Come again?" I simply said since I think that I might have heard it wrong.
(Did I hear it correctly or was it just a glitch on my head?) I thought while I stare at his troubled face.
He then sighs before he looks down and then let go my arm before he fixes himself and then looks
straight at me.
"You are not like this when we meet each other" he said making me look at him in question.
"Look I'm not getting what you are trying to say" I said trying to guess what is this guy even talking
about.
(What do you mean not like this when we meet? We don't even meet each other more or less interact
with each other) I thought while try to understand what is he talking about.
He then looks at me in frustration before he spoke again.
"Don't try and pretend. Come on you usually give me a nasty look or a glare when we meet. You are
even looking at me as if you're asking for a fight or war if I remember" he said seriously while crossing
his arms in his chest.
"So, what happened to you that you are not trying to test me or even mock me into a fight today" he
said making me speechless.
"I—uhm.. I guess that" I stutter while I look away and find for a reason but my mind can't find any words
right now.
I look down and just stare at my feet and I suddenly feel a presence too near me making me raise my
head and immediately froze in shock as I stare at Tobios' eyes who are now staring straight to me.
If back then when I stared at his eyes, I was just staring at his eyes just to see if could make him talk
and I was just admiring but right now that he is the one staring at me. I suddenly feel different and I am
starting to feel hot and I'm suddenly feeling goosebumps.
He suddenly steps even closer and my body unconsciously step back. Nobody talked but I snapped
back into my thoughts when I heard him talk.
"Dance like a—"
"Really—piss off" I said immediately in anger as I push him away and I saw him looked at me seriously

"What are you even—"
"So, you really can't be affected by my words" he said making me look at him in annoyance.
"Why—is your words some kind of ancient that it should have an effect to me. If your one of the royals,
then maybe but you're not" I said to him in disbelief while I feel pissed now though my heartbeat is still
not calming down.
"Of course, because I can make anyone follow whatever I say if they would look at my eyes. I am not a
royal but I can do that" he said and I immediately look at him in shock.
"Wait... you mean mind control" I said in shock as I stare at him and he just looks away and lean on the
wall. Now my weird feeling suddenly vanished instantly and was replaced with both excitement and
curiosity.
"Wait—can you really do that?" I said sounding curious as I went close to him and try to grab his arm
and he look at me in surprise as he shoves me away weakly.
"Back off" he grunted but I ignore him and continued to grab his arm anyway.
"Hey come on and show me" I said sounding excited since I haven't seen anyone have this kind of
magic. Even back then at my previous school there was no who could do that.
"I heard back then that it would be fucking awesome to have that kind of ability. Some kids back then
always wished to have that because they can rule the world" I ranted while remembering those kids
back then.
He just pushes me again since I think I was pestering him but that was what I am doing I am pestering
him to show me.
"But—wait" I stopped trying to pester him.
"No one has that kind of magic are you trying to fool me. That was only a fantasy story made up by old
women back then" I said in realization since this kind of magic doesn't exists.
I then step back and cross my arms on my chest and give him a bored look.
"If you think that you could just make a fool out of me then your underestimating me" I said to him while
I saw him just look at me while maintaining a blank face.
"See you can't even talk—I guess that you're only bluffing around" I tease as I chuckle, close my eyes
and wave my hands in the air.
I then open my eyes again when he didn't reply something before, I decided that it's time to go now,
then I turn around and I was about to walk away when suddenly a fire wall appeared in front of me
making me step back immediately or else my face would have been burnt.
I gasp in shock as I immediately touch my face since that was really close and I was relieved when I
feel that nothing had happened to my face.
"HEY WHAT WAS THAT FOR ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME" I shouted as I turn around and glare at
him and he was just smirking as a fire ball is floating in his hands.
"Opss... my hands slipped" he said sounding innocent making me grit my teeth.
"It was clear as the sky outside that you did it intentionally" I spat back while I was stopping myself from
jumping towards him and punch that arrogant face of him.
I then groan before I turn around and saw that the fire wall slowly vanished and I was about to walk
away again when suddenly I felt that something was thrown towards at me making me notice it. And
when it is about to hit me, I immediately grab something on my pocket and I immediately turn around
and made my sword appear and then I blocked an incoming fire ball at me.
I sliced it and it exploded making me use the smoke as an opportunity to attack him back and then I
was about to slam the sword at him but I saw him looked surprise.
"Think that I won't attack and fall on my knees" I mumble as I then made my sword vanished in the air
since I saw that he might not be able to block it so to lessen the damage I retracted the sword away
and then I clenched my fist and I then give what I have. I give him a nice hard punch on the cheek.
As my fist lands on his face I felt joy and excitement as my attacked reached him.
He was taken a back and he flew away to the side and he crashed on the wall and I scream in joy.
"GOT YOU FUCKER" I shouted while I smirk and then I realize what I did I immediately look at him and
saw the damage I have done.
I froze in fear and nervousness as I saw the wall where Tobios crashed unto and saw that it had few
cracks and you can't deny that someone hit it too hard to create some cracks.
"SHIT I think that I over did it too much" I cursed as I immediately went near Tobios who is now
groaning in pain.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to make it strong" I told him as I help him stand up since he was on his knees
on the floor while he groans in pain.
He then looks up at me and give me are-you-serious-look making me look away and chuckle nervously.
"Uhm... I guess that I-- might have did it purposely" I said while not meeting his eyes.
"You think--" he said seriously as he coughs making me immediately look at him and I suddenly feel
guilty when I saw that his cut in his lips also suddenly got longer than what it was a while ago.
"Wait this feels déjà vu" I mumble as I look around and I saw that no one is around making me look
back at him.
"Uhm—want me to help you clean those wounds" I offered since I really feel guilty since I made his
face worse even though that he started it first.
He just looks at me and he glared at me making me sigh.
"Look if you don't want me to help then can I just take you to the infirmary then" I said since his glaring
face says it all that he doesn't like the idea.
He still keeps on glaring at me but when he touches his lips, he flinches in pain making me ignore his
complain when I force him to stand and I then grab his arm and drag him to the infirmary.
"Hey—what are you going to do?" he says in confusion as I drag him away.
"HEY" he shouted and he pulled his arm making me get pulled back and we both stopped walking.
I the turn around and then I look at him and he was giving me a questioning look but I then turn back
around and I just pulled him along again and this time I run making him have no choice and also run
after since I squeezed his arm making him flinch in pain since I think that it was the arm that hit the wall
a while ago when he was thrown back.
He had no choice but to follow me to the infirmary. And when we reached there, I immediately push him
inside and then I went to find the person who is assigned today.
"Fuck why is today so freaking annoying" I mumble in frustration.
