Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1479

Why does it feel like Fiona is everywhere?

Suddenly, it was as if a light bulb went on in Megan's mind, and her tone turned sharper, "Everyone knows this camera is busted. It can't record a thing."

Without any surveillance footage, clearing Tyler's name was going to be a tall order. Plus, the fact that a genius like Tyler came from such an underperforming class only made her resentment grow faster.

Fiona didn't bother with a reply. She simply pointed at the camera, where a little red light was blinking, signaling it was back in action.

That tiny red dot meant the camera was live. Everyone's eyes darted to it, including Megan's; she hadn't even realized the camera was working again. A wave of panic washed over her.

"So... even if it's working, so what?" Megan stubbornly continued.

Fiona wasn't up for a back-and-forth. She turned to Keaton, "Since Ms. Megan accuses Tyler of stealing the test papers and her money, isn't it fair to check the footage? If it's all a misunderstanding, we can clear it up."

Fiona's half-smile sent a shiver down Megan's spine. She swallowed hard and glanced nervously at the camera. When did it get fixed? How annoying.

"We definitely should check the footage."

Before long, the group made their way to the surveillance room. Once they pinpointed the right moment, they started watching. But at the crucial part, the screen filled with static, likely because of a brief power outage at noon, making it impossible to see anything clearly.

Megan grew more defiant. "Maybe someone messed with the footage on purpose."

Nash stepped up, nudged Keaton aside, and took a seat at the computer. His fingers flew over the keyboard, and soon enough, the original footage came into view.

In just five minutes, everyone was left speechless. It was Megan behind all the chaos.

All eyes landed on her, sharp and unyielding. Beads of sweat appeared on Megan's forehead and palms as she stood there, frozen with anxiety. Her gaze locked onto Nash.

"Now, you owe Tyler an apology," Fiona declared.noveldrama

Megan, of course, wasn't about to apologize, and Fiona didn't push it. She casually lifted her phone and smirked, "Well then, Ms. Lee, you might want to start thinking about how you're going to explain this."

She had already sent the footage from her phone.

When Keaton announced Tyler's scores in class, Fiona had already noticed Megan acting shady in the office and had recorded it on her phone. While Megan was still reeling, the school had erupted into chaos.

"No way! I never thought Ms. Megan was like that."

"As a teacher, framing someone takes some nerve. I'm glad I'm not in her class; I couldn't handle her tricks."

"But is Tyler really that amazing? For Ms. Megan to try and cover it up? She's so petty."

Megan was in a panic, collapsing onto the floor, her face pale as students and teachers called her out. She was utterly ruined, with no saving grace in sight.

The surveillance room's door swung open, and Mr. Garcia stood there with a serious look, "Class is starting. Fiona, Nash, Tyler, you should head back."

As Tyler walked past him, Mr. Garcia softened his tone, “Go on, attend your class. The school will clear your name and explain everything."

With Megan's scandalous behavior out in the open, along with previous incidents, the situation was severe Mr. Garcia wasn't going to let it slide. On his way back, he had already gotten a call from Keaton, hinting that Tyler might just be the next
