Chapter 1412
Class 5.
It was study period, and with no teacher around, the students were all bunched up, chatting animatedly.
"Hey, did you hear? Fiona didn't show up at school yesterday because she got kidnapped!"
"Really? I just saw her at the entrance earlier, and she looked totally chill, not like someone who had just been kidnapped, right?"
"She's probably just putting on a brave face!"
A girl let out a cynical laugh, "The guys who took her were all men. I don't need to spell out what they might've done, do I? Who knows, maybe she's already been..."
She trailed off, but everyone got the gist. They weren't kids; they knew what she was implying.
The mood shifted, becoming awkwardly tense.
Fiona had been missing for a day, and everyone assumed her reputation was shot.
"If I were her, I'd be hiding at home, too embarrassed to show my face. But she's got the nerve to strut around school," the girl continued, then turned to Louise: "Louise, doesn't your family work with the police? Do you know what really happened?" Louise was scribbling in her notebook, her long hair cascading over her shoulders, giving her an impossibly gentle look.
Hearing them, she just smiled softly.
"I know a bit, but... Fiona's a victim in all this."
Her words only confirmed their suspicions-Fiona's reputation was in tatters.
The expressions in the room grew more complicated.
Louise lowered her head, a slight, involuntary smile playing on her lips.
After Fiona was rescued, Louise had spent a sleepless night.
She was both envious of Fiona's luck in getting out unscathed and worried her own role might be discovered.noveldrama
She had wanted to warn Rosa at the station, but couldn't get in, not even close to Rosa.
Everything stayed quiet overnight, likely because Rosa chose not to spill the beans.
Even if it came to that, Louise had kept her distance; it was all Rosa's doing, nothing could lead back to her.
"After this, Fiona's reputation is
toast. folks in Class 9 will probably catch
steer clear, afraid the

"Louise, you should tell your cousin Nash to keep away from Fiona-"
Before she could finish, there was a deafening "bang" as the door flew open!
Everyone in Class 5 jumped and spun towards the door.
A girl was leaning casually against the doorframe, arms crossed, looking defiant as she pulled back
the foot she'd used to kick the door.
It was Fiona!
"Fiona, have you lost it?"
Seeing her, they felt a bit awkward, having been caught bad-mouthing her. But this was Class 5, and she
had the audacity to kick the door open, making a scene!
The room buzzed with anger.
Fiona calmly rubbed her wrist, ready to speak when a voice came from behind her: "Got a problem?"
Still as cocky as ever.
Fiona glanced sideways to see Nash leading a group of Class 9 boys over.
The sight of Nash made Class 5's bravado fade.
No one wanted to mess with Nash.
"Nash!"
Louise spotted him and called out sweetly, standing up.
She instinctively moved to walk over to him, but hesitated when she saw Fiona by his side.
The next moment, Fiona gave her a cold glance.
Growing impatient, Fiona's voice carried a hint of irritation.
"Don't just stand there, come out."
What do you think?
