Fiona rested her chin on her hand, lazily lost in her thoughts. A snake coiled around her arm, sensing her distraction, and gently nuzzled her pale forearm. Fiona chuckled and gave the snake a playful pat on the head, her eyes drifting over to Rosa, sprawled out on the floor.

The snake lay across Rosa's face, flicking its tongue wildly. Rosa was trembling with fear, on the brink of passing out. A pool of yellow liquid spread underneath her. Fiona clicked her tongue in disapproval. "Scared stiff, huh? And you thought you could send someone to kidnap me with that kind of bravado?"

She gave a soft wave of her hand. "Come here, sweetheart." The snake promptly slithered back into her palm, rubbing against it like a loyal pet. Rosa's eyes widened in disbelief.

"Is Fiona even human? Who keeps a venomous snake as a pet?"

"So, spill the beans. Who sent you?" Fiona asked, her voice dripping with nonchalance.

"No one sent me!" Rosa, drenched in sweat, retorted fiercely from the ground, her eyes blazing red with anger. "Fiona, you got me expelled and disgraced! My parents had to beg on their knees! It's all your fault!" "And arranging a kidnapping? I just hate you so much, I wish you were dead!"noveldrama

Fiona tilted her head with a sly smile. "Oh, really? You showed up out of nowhere on that forum. You should've known there'd be consequences. What are you whining about now?"

"If you're going to blame someone, shouldn't it be the person who set you up as the scapegoat?"

Rosa stared at her, shocked. "Scapegoat? You think I was set up?"

Since that incident, her friends had deserted her, and those who stayed were whispering behind her back, hurling insults. Yet Fiona believed the forum fiasco had nothing to do with her?

"What else could it be?" Fiona said, half-heartedly, as if she was losing interest. "With your skills, hack into Louise's forum? Not a chance."

Rosa had willingly stepped forward

to take the fall, and now she was blaming Fiona. Wasn't that laughable? Rosa bit her lip, her face flushed with humiliation, unable to find words to fight back.

"I planned the kidnapping myself!" she shouted, "Don't underestimate me, Fiona. I wanted you gone!"

She couldn't mention Louise. Louise had connections with the police; Rosa still needed her. She was her last hope, and she couldn't betray her. "Okay then."

Rosa expected Fiona to dig deeper hoping to buy some time, but Fiona just shrugged it off. "I gave you a

She shifted her gaze to the kidnappers, who looked like they wanted to disappear into the ground. "Hey, big guy."

She called out, and the tiger beside her let out a perfectly timed roar. The kidnappers were on the verge of tears. "Uh, what...?"

"What did she plan to do to me?" Fiona asked casually. "Whatever she told you to do, now do exactly that to her."
