Brian's eyes were cold, staring tightly at her. "Your plan? Then tell me, what is your plan?"

Grace indifferently turned her head to the side. "I don't need to tell you."

Brian grabbed her hand as she was about to leave. "What are you planning? Nelson is about to become a true member of the Francis family. Are you planning to be with him?"

Grace frowned as she turned to look at him, her gaze tinged with faint

disappointment, which was then replaced by indifference. "I have nothing to do with you. I don't need you to interfere with who I want to be with!"

Brian panicked, realizing he had said the wrong thing.

He hugged her tightly. "I'm sorry, Grace, I misspoke."

"Let me go," she said.

"No! I won't let go of your hand in this lifetime!" Brian said.

Grace struggled for a moment but couldn't break free. With a cold look in her eyes, she lifted her hand and took off the ring from her finger.

Brian's hand loosened involuntarily.

She placed the ring in his hand, not looking at his face, then turned and went into her room.

Brian stared blankly at the ring in his hand, feeling as if his heart had been pierced by a sharp sword.

The next morning, Grace sat next to Austin eating breakfast, with Brian sitting beside her. His gaze fell onto his plate, but his vision involuntarily drifted to Grace.

As if nothing had happened, she ate her food calmly, mentioning that she would take Austin to school later.

Brian stopped halfway through his meal, put down his spoon, and stood up abruptly, causing the chair to scrape against the floor with a harsh noise.

"I'm full, Grandpa, didn't you say you wanted to arrange blind dates for me? Make the arrangments," Brian said.

Casper was taken aback for a moment, then smiled. "Okay. I'll arrange it for you right away."

At the dining table, Jasmine looked at Brian in shock, wanting to say something, but he had already left on his own.

Grace seemed indifferent, as if it had nothing to do with her.

What were these two up to?' Jasmine thought.

Grace, like an outsider, took Austin's hand and sent her to school.

Austin also noticed something strange. As soon as they got in the car, she asked,

"Mom, what is a blind date? Why does Dad want to go on one?"

Grace stopped the motion of starting the car, turned her head to glance at Austin, and said, "Austin, Dad will always love you. You have to believe him."

Austin nodded, seeming to understand.

Casper acted swiftly and arranged everything that same day.

After dinner, Casper spoke in front of everyone, "Brian, I've arranged everything for you. Tomorrow, you'l go meet Marley, the heiress of the Langley Group, at Gastrognome Restaurant at eleven in thenoveldrama

morning."

Brian kept his gaze down, his expression blank as he listened to Casper's words.

Slowly, he raised his head and glanced at Grace.

She remained indifferent, eating her fruit.

Brian said flatly, "Got it."

Seeing Brian's reaction, Jasmine was almost frantic. Another man in the house seemed to be enjoying the show.

Casper was quite satisfied with

Brian's performance. He continued, "If you're satisfied with her, I'll

arrange a meeting with the Langley Group to discuss your marriage..."
