Madisyn’s face softened into a relieved smile. She lingered with Andrew in the office until they finally left together.

Later that evening, as Madisyn tidied up in the bathroom, Andrew reached for his phone to call his secretary.

If that were true, Andrew’s sharp remark, followed by simply hanging up, was shockingly mild—proof of his remarkable patience.

Feeling both chastened and grateful, the secretary renewed his silent vow of loyalty to Andrew.

Without delay, he contacted the people from Mafelen to set up the meeting.

Meanwhile, at the penthouse suite of Ansport’s most opulent hotel, Ailyn sat cloistered in her room, refusing to step out since her dinner with the models.

A knock interrupted her solitude. Nathan waited outside.

“Miss Vettel, they’ve summoned you.”

Minutes later, the door swung open, revealing Ailyn, already dressed.

“Did they say why?”
