Chasing My Pregnant Wife



Aurora stood before the mirror in her wedding dress, admiring how she looked with a happy smile on her face. She was marrying Theodore today.

Now that Rosalie had been dealt with, Aurora would be able to enjoy the rest of her life with Theodore in peace.

Their wedding was a low-profile one and they didn't invite many guests. It wasn't exactly the kind of grand wedding Aurora had imagined, but getting married to Theodore was the main point. Nothing else mattered.

Theodore stood alone on the balcony, smoking a cigarette. He looked suave in his wedding suit, but an air of despondence hung around him. Wesley approached him. "Theo."

Theodore turned his head to glance at him. "What is it?"

"Your mom's here."

"Great," Theodore said. "Both of you can be witnesses to the wedding."

"Theo, you're all grown up and capable of making your own decisions. As parents, there's nothing much we can comment on. Aurora is pregnant and you should bear the responsibility. As long as your conscience is clear."

Theodore flung the cigarette on the floor and stomped on it.

"Dad, Rose and I got divorced much earlier than you and Mom did. You two dragged things out for a long time and suffered a lot. I guess that makes me more fortunate than the two of you."

Despite his words, Theodore smiled bitterly and turned to leave.

Rosalie was at home, keeping Steve's toys, when the doorbell rang.

After she was done, she stood up, straightened up her clothes, and walked to the door. She looked through the peephole and her expression changed.

"Cynthia, what are you doing here? How did you know I live here?" she asked.

"That's easy. Open the door. I have something to tell you."

"I have nothing to talk to you about. Please leave."

"Don't you want evidence of foul play in your grandmother's death?" Cynthia raised her phone.

Cynthia's phone screen through the peephole, and was flabbergasted. She immediately opened the door and tried to snatch the phone, but Cynthia moved faster and retracted her hand just in time.

"Want it? Let me in and let's have a good chat."

Rosalie stepped aside and let Cynthia in before shutting the door.

Cynthia looked around and made a beeline for Steve. She crouched down and said, "What a cutie."

She was about to touch Steve when Rosalie pulled her away. "Don't touch my son!"

Cynthia smiled. "Sure."

Rosalie immediately grabbed Steve and settled him down in his room before shutting the door.

She then went back to Cynthia and asked, "What's with that video earlier?"

"I filmed that in the hospital. It's evidence of Aurora and Angie in cahoots to cause your

grandmother's death. Not only did they push her down the stairs, but they even killed her off to cover up their crime."

Rosalie was trembling all over. She tried her best to compose herself before asking, "Seems like you've had that video for a while. Why didn't you share it earlier?"

"Are you questioning me? Do you want this video or not?"

Rosalie took a deep breath and asked, "What do you want?"

"Straightforward," Cynthia remarked. "Theo gave you five percent of SK Enterprise's shares, didn't he?"

Rosalie frowned. "You want those shares?"

"That's right. I want it," Cynthia said,noveldrama

"Give me that and I'll send you the video. surely be enough to convict Aurora of her crime. Aside from this, I can give you another piece of evidence too."

With that, Cynthia scrolled through her phone and pulled out a recording of Aurora bribing the kidnapper to kill Rosalie and her baby.

Rosalie shook with anger upon hearing the recording.

Aurora and Angie were utterly vicious!

As it turned out, she was not imagining things when she thought that she was being followed before.

"Cynthia, how did you get all these? Are you somehow involved too?" Rosalie asked.
