Alpha's Second Chance

It has been a few weeks, and I haven't seen Noah a lot. Day after the packs had received King Logan's message, wolves started to come in. The castle was now noisier as it was full of wolves. After the first week, the new protection room underneath the castle had been built and was ready.

Logan and Noah had met with the vampire a few times, to help him make safety for his people. Noah had been training rapidly to get as many people as possible ready for a war.

While Noah had been busy, so had I been, reading and learning about my powers. I had found a journal written by a wolf for over a hundred years ago, who had the same powers as me. I have read that I can learn to control the plants I create. And even control the earth and trees, which can be helpful if I am

attacked.

The witch/wolf, Greta, who is close to the royal family, helps me a few hours every day. She has taught me a lot about how to call my power to me. It was also how we found out the need to be bare earth or plants. And if I am in a room with no plants or flowers, they won't come. But I also learned that even the smallest amount of earth is enough. So now I carry a bracelet with a small vial of earth in it.

I am grateful for this help, which means I am now getting better and more able to protect myself and those around me.

NOAH

I am tired, and I miss Madeleine. The last few weeks have been so busy she has already been sleeping when I am back. I don't blame her for that, because she is working hard too, I just miss her.

Today, I am training with both wolves and vampires. I want us to learn to fight together so we stand a better chance of winning. Also, the vampires who fight with us need to know our scent and us theirs. So we can recognize each other when we go I to battle.

"My king, I have a suggestion," Vladimir says next to me, and I look at him.

"Let me hear it," I say and smile. Vladimir is so great that it's sometimes hard to believe vampires and wolves don't get along.noveldrama

"What about making mixed groups? I understand some groups will be only wolves and some only vampires. But mixed ones can be good too." Vladimir says, and I think about it.

"You might be right, but if we do it has to be only those who volunteer to. So nothing feels pushed or forced because that will do no good." I say and look at him.

"I agree." He says.

I turn and look at the around 1800 pair of eyes, looking at us and waiting.

"Listen up!" I yell.

"King Vladimir just came up with an idea. First, I want to tell you that no one will be forced. It is entirely your own decision. But we want to see if we can make battle groups with both vampires and wolves. It means you will have to train together, work together, and listen to each other. And protect each other. And let me make it clear. If you do not feel this is something you can and want to do, it is okay." I yell, and I hear the whisper, but I wait.

Then, wolves and vampires step out of the lines and create new lines, mixed lines between wolves and vampires see at least 200 of each race, but there is more than that. I can't help it. I smile, it is way more volunteers than I expected, and I start to think it will all be okay.

Vladimir and I started making groups of 20 each and told them to talk, train, and create a fighting strategy for their group. Then, we went to talk to the other volunteers, and we split them up to count the exact number of each.

We have 250 wolves and 200 vampires, so that each group will be eight wolves and seven vampires. And this will give us 30 groups with both of our races.

We split them up into groups, and then we let them have some time to get to know each other. But after an hour, I tell them all to pay attention.

"Just as with the other groups, we want you to work together and train together to make a plan. Learn how each other fights." I tell, and then I talk to all of the 1800 fighters.

"This war is the biggest in over hundreds of years. Not only one race, but we all are threatened. Because one man wants to hurt those in each race who are extraordinary, we do this to protect not only those but our entire supernatural world. And I will be

here with you all, not on use

my mate is one of those at risk. But because this world is mine, and I will protect it for as long as I live." I tell them all

"KING NOAH, KING LOGAN, KING VLADIMIR." Some wolves start yelling, and

soon, they all begin.

"KING NOAH, KING LOGAN, KING VLADIMIR."

"KING NOAH, KING LOGAN, KING VLADIMIR."

“KING NOAH, KING LOGAN, KING VLADIMIR." They yell repeatedly over and

over.
