Alpha's Second Chance

Dad had called me to the office, and when I got there, I saw Enzo was there too, so I sat down. I had felt something bad in the true king's powers.

I know it sounds strange and unbelievable, but somehow, I have a connection to the werewolf world. No matter where in the world it is, it's like I can feel if something needs my attention. I still work on getting to know how to use it. And when I say use it, I mean to understand what and where.

"Sit down," Dad tells us, and we do and wait for what he wants to say.

"France is reporting more rouge attacks, small ones, but happen more often. They also hear that many of the rouges are not French but Italian. Alpha Alexander and Leonardo have reported that many of Alpha Carlos's supporters have left Italy." Dad tells us.

"Yes, they told us when we were down there," I say, and Dad nods his head.

"Yes. Many of them know Alpha Louis helped with the paternity test. So might be revenge." Enzo says, and Dad nods his head again.

"Yes, it might very well be. I say we send some warriors over there to help and see what happens. Matt has an officer among his warriors whom he trusts, and he can trust him to send him as the leading wolf. And Matt will go with make sure they are all set and then come home again." Dad agrees.

"And what if it is not enough?" I ask, and Dad looks at me with his trained eyes.

"If it is not enough, we all go. It has been almost a year since your shift. Since what happened with Maja, your lycan has calmed down. So we need to plan the ball that should have been last year." He answers. And I know not to disagree, but it does anyway.

"I don't care about some ball, Dad. Some things are more important," I say, and I get surprised when it isn't Dad who answers.

"But your people do. They need to see their true king." Mom says as she comes inside the office.noveldrama

"They need to see you there, to feel it. If the king over all kings and leaders hide, they will get worried, even afraid." Mom continues, and I know not to disagree with her.

Mom is a little wolf, but she is the strongest and most badass wolf there has ever been. Even most men fear her. She has a special power, but it nearly killed her using it, so Dad forbids her to. And she chose to obey it and always said she didn't want to risk leaving us all alone.

"Fine, but then invite Alpha Louis and show the attackers that we are on his side," I say, and Mom smiles.

"That is a good idea," Mom says, kissing my head and leaving. I roll my eyes, and Dad and Enzo laugh.

LOGAN

After the meeting with the boys, I find Liv in the kitchen, and she looks at me when I enter.

"Enzo, leave?" She asks.

"Yes, and Noah went to his apartment. Said someone was waiting." I tell her, and she sighs.

"I wish he didn't do this." She said.

"I know, my love. But he is an adult. And at least he only with the females that already had a chance of a mate." I say to calm her, and she nods her head.

"Yes, at least he is not careless." She says as she put food on the table.

"Rose asks. We celebrate Antonio in the morning, and then we have the afternoon to get ready for the ball. I think that sounds reasonable." Liv says, and I smile at her.

"I think that sounds perfect. I want to add a few people to the guest list and send an invitation to Alpha Leonardo and Alexander. Without their help, Rose might never have found Enzo." I say, and she smiles at me.

"Already done, my king." She says teasingly, and I laugh at her.

NOAH

I entered into my apartment in the castle, and smelled her right away, and walked into the bedroom. I growled lowly when I saw Gina naked and waiting for me on my bed.

Gina is a she-wolf from another

pack. She met her mate here while visiting some family. She moved here, but only a few days after, her

mate was killed in a rouge het

She only got to have a few friends. I et her on a run in the woods, and things happened, and now see her from time to time. It's casual, and she knows if I one day find my mate, what we sometimes do will be over.

"Hello, my king." She whispered.

"Hello, Gina, you look amazing as always," I say calmly.

"Just for you, my king." She whispers, and I growl.

No more talk is needed; she stands up and undresses me, and we ignore the world for a while. And after we are both satisfied, she gets dressed and leaves the castle. I always make sure to be focused on what she feels, so if one day I think she starts wanting more, we can end it before she gets hurt.

I go shower and then go reading and check up on what I need to do before the

evening comes.
