Alpha's Second Chance

ENZO

He rejected her, and I can't blame him after hearing what he said. I did feel Rose's sadness for her brother's loss, but also a bit of relief. She goes to stand up, but I stop her.

'I will do it.' I tell her in mindlink.' and she nods her head.

I stand up, walk to Noah, put my hand on his tense shoulder, and relax.

"My King," I say low, and he looks at me in my eyes.

There is no doubt, not even pain, just determination and anger.

"Beta, get them out of here. Let her see a doctor if she needs it. I am not a monster like they were. I won't leave her to be in pain, all alone, and suffer like they did. But I want them gone." He says as he looks at me.

"As you wish," I say as the doors open, and four of the warriors I train come in after I mindlinked them.noveldrama

"Lead them away, take her to the hospital, make sure she can travel. And lead them out of this pack and town. It is your king's order." I say, and they bow.

The girl starts screaming and crying while she calls Noah's name, but Noah ignores her and sits back down.

"Maybe I should have fucked her before I rejected her, have had a little more fun with her.” The man, Rose's first mate, yells, and I growl but say nothing.

"I challenge you in combat about honor and a mate. Even if I rejected her, I can still do that." He yells at me and smirks, and several Alphas growls, including his own. I look at him.

“I accept,” I say, looking at the warriors that hold him. I nod at them, and they let

him go.

"Now?" He asks, and I walk down the main floor.

"Why not now, tomorrow, next week? Does it matter?" I ask.

"I am not dressed to fight." He says fast, and I laugh.

"So now your clothes are an issue?" I ask.

"As a Beta, I thought you would be prepared for any possible fight. But I guess not." I say and look back at the table.

"As the one being challenged, it is your right to choose time and place. If you say now, then it is now." Logan says.

"And I say now. Maybe not in here, but definitely now. No reason to wait." I say, and the room begins to cheer. Guests are moving tables and chairs, making room in the middle of the room.

ROSE

Romeo challenged Enzo. Even if I am mated, the old laws state that if he has been my mate by fate at any time, he can challenge my current mate.

Enzo was far from happy. Tonight was supposed to be about Noah, so he wants to end this as fast as possible. He removed his suit jacket and buttoned shirt so he was shirtless but still in his pants. Romeo saw it and did the same thing, undressed, so he was shirtless.

Enzo walked out onto the floor, and Kyle stood up, but Dad signaled for him to sit down and stand up himself. I watched as he stepped out onto the floor, and if eyes could kill or freeze you, Romeo would be in trouble.

"The rules are simple. As in any fight about your honor and rights, You fight until one of you gives up or gets killed. You fight fair, meaning you do not fight with any weapon or other things that will help you cheat. This is a full-contact fight, and you can't fight in human or wolf forms. Any of the rules broken will get you disqualified, and you lose.

Understood?" Logan says and looks at us after the turn.

Romeo smirks, and when Logan looks at me, I bow to show respect and agreement.

"Last thing. If I see you break the rules. I will be the one you fight. Well, not me but my beast." Logan says, shifting right there in front of everyone and into his lycan. And the Lycan looks like he wants to eat Romeo. And the skirt leaves his face.

"Get ready." The Lycan's deep voice says

They move into position, and the other guests form a big circle around them. But Romeo's own Alpha looks pissed off by this whole situation.

I look at the circle again and see they are ready, and Dad's Lycan looks at them.

"Begin."

Romeo smirked and began to move in a circle, trying to get behind Enzo, but

Enzo wasn't stupid enough to let that happen. When Romeo realizes it, he tries to taunt Enzo instead, making him really angry.

"When I win, I will fuck her so good

that she will forget your name, and I

will erase that mark on her. Putting

my own on that neck. And I'll make her send that bastard son away, and I don't want to look at that kid being

reminded of you." She says, and Enzo growls.

"Or maybe we keep the kid, make her remember I killed you." He says. He does

not care that everyone can hear what he says.

"In order to do that, you need to fight, not walk around like a scared pup. And if you think I will lose so easily, you can touch her and my child. You are dead wrong. You don't

know much about me, but I know

about you. You are not even Beta born, but you have your title because the new Alpha is your friend. Me, I'm born an Alpha." Enzo says and attacks.
