Alpha's Second Chance

ROSE

The growl that came from Noah was furious, and it shook the entire house we were in. I looked at him, saw the shift happening, and felt the power coming from him.

*Clink*

The last chains broke, and he stood up finally free, and everyone backed away from him. His Lycan was all black, except for a small mark of silver fur, that looked like a crown.

"Come closer, and I'll snap the neck of this boy." Alpha Carlos says.

"You won't give the boy to her." The Lycan says and I am shocked. I've seen Dad and Mom in their Lycan but never heard them speak. But Alpha Carlos just laughed.

The next growl was stronger and more powerful than the first one, and I felt that power filled the place for a second.

"Give her the boy, now!" The lycan says this time with so much strength that Alpha Carlos has no choice but to follow orders.

Carlos gave my baby to Mia with an evil smile on his face. But it doesn't last when she walks over to me and hands me my son. He growls and jumps to attack but is stopped in the air by a giant hand around his neck.

"Do not move." The lycan ordered him as it put him back on the ground.

Carlos tries to move but can't, and it's beginning to make him angry. The door opens and three men come in, and Carlos who can still speak yells.

"Attack him!" He yells, and they do.

All three jump Noah, but they are no match for his lycan, and it doesn't take long before all three are on the floor dead, one with an arm ripped off. But the distraction was all Alpha Carlos needed, as the distraction made Noah lose attention and his order. Alpha Carlos took the distraction as an opportunity and moved fast, and tried to attack me again.

And just that second door opened, I heard Enzo yell my name. Carlos never

made it to me, but this time, it was someone I had never expected to try to defend me. I saw Mia fall to the floor, blood flowing from her, and she seemed unresponsive.

"Noah! STOP." Dad yelled, but Noah's Lycan ignored him

The lycan grabbed Alpha Carlos by the neck and growled loudly.

"You will never disobey an order again, let this be a lesson to the rest of the world." He growls lowly.

"Noah!" Dad yells again. But it is too late, and we all see Alpha Carlos fall to the floor, with his neck ripped open, and the lycan has his throat in his hand.

Enzo began to move closer to me and our son, and Noah turned around, growling at him. And for a moment, I was scared he would attack.

ENZO

I wanted to get to Rose and our baby boy I could see she had in her arms. But I stopped when Noah's Lycan turned to me and growled dangerously at me.

"Noah," Logan says, and the Lycan looks at him.

"Hey, son. You did good, and it's time to come back now." Logan continued.

Noah's Lycan shook his head from side to side.

"Protect sister." He says, and Logan looks at him.

"You saved her, and her baby, you did good. Now we need to get her home." Logan says.

"Son, listen to me." It was Liv talking, and the Lycan looked at her.

"Rose is safe, thanks to you. You are such a good brother. You need to shift. Let Noah come back." She

says softly, and the Lycan looks at

her for a long time. But then it nods its head, and the power in the room eases up, and seconds after Noah is on the floor gasping for air from exhaustion.

I rush over to Rose, and Liv does the same. Logan hurried to help Noah.

"Rose, are you okay?" Liv asks. And Rose nod her head.

I kiss her forehead gently and check her for wound's but find none, seems they never harmed her. Then I saw our son, lying there in her arms. sleeping, looking so peaceful not knowing the danger that had just happened.

Logan helped Noah, and Kyle brought him to the car we got here. He walks over

to us and then sees Mia on the floor.

"It wasn't Noah, Mia jumped in front of Carlos when he tried to attack me while those attacked Noah. She tried to help, and I think she knew it would cost her, her life.” Rose says, and he nods his head.

"Let us get you two out in the car. And get you home so both you and this handsome little one can be checked." He says. Liv takes our son into her arms, and I carry my beautiful mate.

"I was going crazy, I thought I never see you again, I almost agreed to his terms. Just so I would know you were safe." I tell her as we sit in the car.

"Don't ever do that, and we will always find each other, so never give up, because I need you. We need you." She tells me.

"This will never happen again, so no need to worry about it," I tell her, and she rests her head on my shoulder, tired after everything happening.

On the way home, Logan asked

them questions, and Rose answered, saying Noah had been locked down by silver and wolfsbane, so he had been weakened. Logan says Carlos must have been afraid for what

good

have happened, and with Could

Rest the ride home went quietly, and Rose fell asleep exhausted.noveldrama
