A Surprising Twist of Fates (Sierra and Theo)

"Which couple doesn't argue? Making up is perfectly normal. Besides, Benson is handsome, charming, and generous. Remember when he came to school to see Sierra? She couldn't wait to run to him the moment she heard he was here. They've probably patched things up, which means she'll probably leave school again."

Cayden listened to her words, his expression growing increasingly somber. A wave of sadness spread through him.

Felicia pretended not to notice his sorrow and instead glanced at the notebook in his hand. "Cayden, what's that notebook you're holding?"

"It's my notes."

His voice was heavy with disappointment as he lowered his gaze to the notebook in his hands. He had spent countless nights meticulously compiling it for Sierra, hoping it would help her. But now, it seemed there was no point in giving it to her.

He turned to leave, but Felicia quickly stopped him. With a hint of caution, she asked, "Cayden, can I borrow your notes?"

Cayden hesitated for a moment, glancing in the direction where Sierra's car had disappeared. Then, he handed the notebook to Felicia.

"Thank you, Cayden," she replied with delight. She eagerly took the notebook with both hands.

He said nothing and walked away.

Meanwhile, she looked down at the notebook in her hands, her eyes sparkling with joy. It was as if she had just obtained a precious treasure. She pressed it to her heart, holding it tightly in her arms.

Sierra arrived at the company and took the elevator straight upstairs.

Sophie was in her office packing up her things when she caught a glimpse of a familiar figure passing by the door. Thinking she might

have imagined it, she looked again and realized it was indeed Sierra.

She immediately set down what she was holding and rushed out the door. Just as she stepped outside, she saw Sierra walk straight into Benson's office.

"Ms. Shaw, Mr. Benson is in a meeting right now, but it'll be over soon. Please wait for him here." Reagan served Sierra a glass of water, then went back to work.

Sophie watched him leave before stepping into the office. Her face was filled with hostility as she glared at Sierra sitting on the couch. "Sierra, what are you doing here?"

Sierra glanced up, her gaze cool and indifferent. She asked coldly, "How is that any of your business?"

Hearing this, Sophie frowned and stepped closer to confront her. "Sierra, you've already broken up with Benson. Why are you still clinging to him? Don't tell me you regret it?"

"Why don't you ask Benson why he's harassing me even though we're over?" She spoke calmly and clearly, her voice possessing a cool, ethereal quality.

Sophie's expression darkened, and a hint of restraint crept into her voice as she spoke. "Sierra, if you really don't want to get back together with him, stop showing up in front of him."

Hearing this, Sierra found it somewhat amusing.

"And who exactly are you to demand that of me? Benson's girlfriend? His fiancée? Or his wife?"

The mocking words cut like a knife

into Sophie's heart. She clenched

her fists, trying to maintain her

composure. "I may not be Benson's girlfriend yet, but we're already together. We share the most intimate relationship, something you can never compare to."

official?" Sierra shot her a sidelong

glance, a mocking glint in her eyes. "No wonder the self-punishment didn't leave a mark on your face-you've got a hide like a rhino!"
