Chapter 3 He Woke up Miraculously

Heather tugged at Gary’s sleeve secretly, Gary finally came to his senses and asked, “Cecelia, it turns out that you’re still alive. Where have you been over the years? Why didn’t you come back home?”
Although Gary, seemed concerned about Cecelia, he was puzzled and even a little afraid.
“The girl looks hostile against us. Why on earth did she suddenly come back?” wondered Gary.
With a mocking smile on her face, Cecelia looked at Ophelia and said, “Look! I’m back now, and it so happens that I can‘ attend my sister’s wedding.”
Ophelia got to her feet. Completely forgetting what had happened five years ago, she pleaded with puppy dog eyes, “Were you just serious, Cecelia? Are you really willing to marry Remington in my place?”
“Sure. I’ve been away for five years. Since I’m back, of course, ! should do something for the Linsey family to repay your efforts,” said Cecelia, words dripping with sarcasm.
In fact, Cecelia came back today just to marry Remington, no matter whether he would die soon.

After Cecelia got into a luxury car, the convoy drove away.

Seeing the convoy moving far away, Heather rushed back home and said, “That’s great, Ophelia. Since that bitch marries Remington, your don’t have to marry him and become a widow anymore.”
“It’s said that Remington doesn’t have much time left. Cecelia will surely become a widow soon,” Ophelia gave a smug smile. She felt so happy to get rid of such a burden.

The luxury cars drove into the grand Nelson Mansion, which spanned thousands of hectares.
After getting out of the car, a servant helped Cecelia into the living room. Cecelia could feel that a lot of people were discussing her ånd Remington’s marriage while sitting in the living room.
“Madam Nelson, Miss Linsey is here. Would you like to hold the ceremony right now?”
“Remington is still in a coma. Just forget about the ceremony,” said Gabriella.
Just then, a servant rushed in from outside and reported, “Madam Nelson, Mr. Nelson woke up.”
Gabriella was overjoyed to hear that. “Really? Remington woke up? That’s great! This girl really brought blessing to him. Carols, bring her to Remington’s room!‘
“Yes, sir!” Carlos responded.
Hearing this, the other women in the living room looked at each other in shock and thought, “The doctor has written a critically ill notification for the dying Remington, but Remington actually woke up? Can a girl really bring blessings to a dying person by marrying him?”
The Aroma Villa was located in the east of the Nelson Mansion. The butler, Carlos, led Cecelia here and said, “Miss Linsey, please lift the veil!”
Then, Cecelia lifted the veil by herself. Carols looked at her up and down but didn’t find anything wrong. Perhaps he didn’t care who had married the dying Remington to bring blessing to him, as long as she came.

Just as Cecelia opened the door and before she could figure out what was going on, she realized that something was thrown at her. Fortunately, she had learned boxing and reacted quickly. She not only managed to dodge but also successfully took the glass ashtray. She looked around and found that the room was a mess.
Two doctors and three nurses were pressing a struggling man on the bed together.
“Hurry up! Prepare the tranquilizer!”
The medical staff rushed around manically. Cecelia was amused by what was happening before her eyes. Remington was really a legendary figure.
It was said that he was a vegetable who didn’t have much time left. However, he was still like a wild beast just after waking up.
A nurse brought a tranquilizer syringe and intended to inject it into Remington, but Remington grabbed it and stabbed it into a male doctor’s arm.
“Ouch!”
The male doctor let out a scream and fell to the ground soon.
The other doctor was also punched and sent flying by Remington. The nurses were so scared that they didn’t dare to walk up at all.
Remington pulled the infusion set away from his hand and sat up on the bed, gasping for breath.
At this moment, he looked so enraged and violent that no one dared to approach him or act rashly.
There was dead silence in the room, as if it were hell.
At the sight of it, Carlos plucked up his courage and said, “Mr. Nelson, Madam Nelson chose Miss Linsey to bring blessing to you. If Miss Linsey takes care of you, it will help you recover faster.”
After saying that, Carlos pushed Cecelia and winked at her, motioning for her to walk up to Remington.
As soon as Cecelia took two steps forward, Remington roared coldly, “Get out! All of you, fuck off!”
